Why are your used car rates so high? My last 5 used car purchase rates have been in the 2.9%-3.9% range, with the most recent being 3.4% a few months ago.

Surely. Being someone who’s spent a fair amount of time in martial arts and boxing classes, I’m still always skeptical that I have a leg up on anyone. Someone like Serra can probably tell pretty instantly if he’s up against a real threat, and the chances of someone (unarmed) being a threat to Serra are pretty low.

This is the best! I’ve dabbled in fighting sports over the course of my life, but this kind of thing is what really makes me want to deep dive into MMA. I’d love to have the confidence and skill to peacefully subdue drunk assholes as if they’re ornery toddlers.

Whew, not me. Went from a 911 to Cayman, and I couldn’t stand having no sun or moonroof. I pretty much always open it, unless it’s raining.

I understand. I wasn’t referring to only myself.  My point is that in many parts of the country, there are large contingents of straight white men who care, so it’s not some rarity.  Implying that it is some rare even is what bothers me.

Nope. It’s just an interesting case to me, as I was trying to speak out for women in that case, but I was taken to task, because I was a criticizing a successful black man who happens to be also be a woman abuser.

Actually, yes, they can fuck off, too, although the difference is that they can shakily legitimize it by saying the engines are too powerful for a stick, and they’re competing for world beating speed.

This isn’t a zero sum game. I never said that I could care about women’s rights right as much as women do, although, ironically, I apparently do care more about women’s rights than many women on the religious right, so I guess I fall somewhere in between.

p.s. I originally made a sarcastic comment about how awful the direction of this country is going at the hands of idiot men.  I didn’t come here to argue.

You can sit and listen. I’ll listen and participate. This is only one little strain of this long and generally fantastic comments section.  It hasn’t derailed anything.

Sorry. If we were sitting at a table talking about this together, one person said guys at work were awful about this topic (which I certainly believe is true,) but others started chiming in that all straight white men don’t care, I’d speak up then, too.

They honestly are, unless I’m using my right hand to shift or grab something.   It makes driving way more fun to me if I pretend every mile I drive matters, even if it’s just driving 30mph in the city.  Heck, I heel toe nearly the entire time, too.  lol
