I hear you, but you’ll waste the power if you’re suspension can’t put it down, anyways. You should at least track down a BMW Performance suspension first (and change the rear subframe bushings.) According to zillions of 1er users, this is what I’ve found to generally be considered a good order of upgrades:

I think both have become overwrought, to be honest, but certainly BMW more so. I prefer the 987/997 Cayman and 911s to the newer stuff, and I prefer my arguably weird looking 135i to the 2 series.

It probably depends on what I ate for breakfast.

Being someone who recently went from a 911 to Cayman to 135i, I’d simply tell you that the reason is the backseat and trunk.

I just think you’d be wasting your time on an LSD without doing suspension first. It’s far and away the weak point of our cars (we have identical suspension,) and it’s the only way to get them close to the 1M.

When you’re talking world-beating speed, sure, but when you’re talking a middle of the road, 300-400hp sports car, it should be more about fun.
