Yeah I agree. The controller fixed the "mechanical" problems but the combat system is still weird and the Inventory setup is atrocious.

Also the dependency on spamming the dive button for combat is really annoying.

The first game is unplayable in my opinion. The second has terrible PC controls but was not to bad with an xbox 360 controller. The draw for me is the story... the books + the games are one of the best Fantasy stories I have experienced. However, I agree the games just don't live up to the idea.

The first time I played Witcher 2 I was lost. They make so many references to characters and events that are outside the scope of either game that I felt overwhelmed.

Strange my Fiesta ST gets great mileage at higher RPM. My car was advertise at 35 and I can usually get 30mpg @ 75mph hovering around the same RPM as you. At slower speeds I can get closer to 32-33.
