Yeah, it’ll never happen. Maybe they could start with the Subaru Baja, give it a little less room in the back seat, give it a bit more room for the bed, and then throw in a nice hybrid drivetrain.
I really just want a El Camino (or Ranchero for you any brand die-hard guys that insist on complicating this hypothetical) with a Volt drivetrain... maybe make it AWD. Would also be nice if it could be made into an extended cab or full crew cab, but that’s asking a lot out of a car-based pick-up hybrid.
It’s pretty damn dead. The GS of today is a joke compared to the GS of yesteryear.
I was kinda hoping for a more affordable compliment to Cadillac’s “V” series. Kinda what Pontiac’s GXP’s were.
You realize that dealerships don’t generally lose money on a sale, right? So Ford sells the Mustang to the dealer at $25,000 who sells it to the consumer at anywhere from $28,000-35,000. Meanwhile, you could have just bought it right from Ford for $26,000 and never worried if you could have saved money by going…
Except the competition from other car companies...
Is the Bolt rated to tow?
None of that makes me feel bad for these people. If you want an edge up, do that by doing better in school, or running a vital club, or working on interviewing skills, or something. Paying to go to a private school to get you edge up, but comes with a higher price tag. I don’t feel bad for you if you choose that…
Am I supposed to feel bad that your wife chose to take on such a ridiculous amount of debt?
That’s an insult to the Saab 9-7x.
Yet, people crash cars every day, and you’re willing to drive among them...
His point is that the way the US economy is set up, is that it favors companies (including his) moving things over seas. Why wouldn’t he take advantage of that as a businessman? He wants to change is so that companies have little to no incentive to make things (cars, shirts and ties...) over seas or in Mexico when…
Nope, NY. And STI. WRX’s start around $26,000 at the no negotiating place.
The real hats are made in the US. It’s the knock-offs that are made in China, Mexico or Vietnam...

The local “no negotiating” dealer has them for $37-41k all the time, depending on trim and options. I’ve heard the other large Subaru dealer in the area will beat their price if you negotiate, but not by much.
Why wouldn’t you just get the GSW 4motion then? I don’t get it. What are you doing where the minimally added height is beneficial, but if they had added more, it would be detrimental?
