Dude, Ford sold over about 15 times that amount of F150s in 2014. They sold 754,000 F150s, GM sold 742,000 Silverados/Sierras. Ram sold 444,000 1500s. Toyota doesn’t understand the truck market.
Man, some people just can’t win. Some guy out there bought a Ridgeline in SoCal because he wanted to haul his surfboard/dirtbike/waverunner, and now he’s getting shit on for being a green smoothing drinking pretty boy just trying to put on the facade of living an active lifestyle.
Toyota and Nissan understand the US truck market? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
It’s actually not a bad CVT. The downfalls of it is the anemic engine, unless you get the top trim which still isn’t very powerful. The only downfall of the CVT is that it isn’t a manual.
Where I used to go, was a medium to small sized lake (~16 miles long, ~1 mile wide), so a stand up was great there. Sure, you did a bit of cursing if you had to get from one end to the other, but you could at least sit on your knees and bomb down there.
Kinja’d
Superjet is 308 dry. It’s also a 2-stroke while this new Kawi will be a 4-stroke.
I’ve got hours and hours using my ‘94 Kawi 750SX (I’ve had it since ‘04 or ‘05), along with hours and hours on various sit down jet skis (been riding those since the mid-to-late ‘90s). I think each type of jet ski has their own benefits. If you plan to do any sort of traveling, at all, a stand up is horrendous. I’m…
Did you inform the airline before flying? Did you wife bring proper medication in case of such an event?
1) What do you want done about that one? You were the problem. People are allowed to fly with lap dogs, though they are supposed to be kept in their crate/cage/bag.
I guess I can un-follow Jalopnik on Instagram, because I can just see all the posts here...
No, it’ll just have a soft “J” like, Jalapeno. So it’ll be “Halopnik”.
I’m learning I don’t really like this Johan de Nysschen guy. First, he comes up with dumb names. And then he get’s rid of our vertical lights. EVERYONE IS HORIZONTAL YOU TWIT! Cadillac was one of the few that had vertical lights, and I thought they were unique, and great. It’s extremely easy to spot a new CTS at…
I’d call it a rather big evolution of Art and Science. It’s too rounded, not enough angularity to it to be true Art and Science. If we removed the badges, I doubt many people, even car people, would be able to tell this was a Cadillac. The only thing that would clue people in is the rear end. Even then, I wouldn’t be…
So Cadillac pushes vertical headlights for the past decade or so, and now a sudden switch to horizontal? No, fuck that. You’ve built your design language around your vertical lights, don’t abandon that shit now.
Did you actually read it? None of the Prowler people have any issues with that transmission. The only people that were, were people that had that transmission in other vehicles. Many people on that site even speculated that the Prowler’s version might have heavier innards, but definitely benefits because it is placed…
If it is so damn easy, why isn’t anyone else doing it. Why is Koenigsegg the only one? Why isn’t Porsche throwing twin turbos on their 918? Why not Ferrari with the La Ferrari? Why not McLaren with the P1?
