You are changing your argument. You can’t move the finish line and claim you’ve won after I’ve crossed the original finish line.

Clearly you’ve never driven a dog-leg...

A lot of people can’t figure out a manual transmission, doesn’t mean it’s broken.

What’s all the trouble they’ve caused and costs they’ve incurred?

I almost ran myself over once. Though, I’ll admit it was my own damn fault. It was an old ‘73 Saab 96 and the damn e-brake would always stick. Only way to get it to release was to lay out the ground behind the car and reach under and manual move the e-brake pivot on the drums back into “released” position (had to do

That still won’t stop people from running themselves over. This is from the NHTSA’s complaint section regarding 2013 Nissan Xterras.

Only downside is no-detachable hose to get into narrow spots and all that. Otherwise the best vacuum I’ve ever owned.

At an internship I had I rigged two RIDGID shop-vacs up to collect highly caustic water from dripping off a chain on a powder-coat line. It was meant to be a cheap and temporary fix until I could come up with a viable plan to actually address the drip. I ended up running those things continuously for 16+ hours a day,

As a single dude, I’ve considered a minivan. Low floor means easy loading of things... like motorcycles:

True that. The Sienna gets the same gas mileage as the Highlander, yet you get better ground clearance and a vehicle that doesn’t come with the minivan stigma. Sure, you lose out on some usability of the vehicle, but most buyers are just too concerned with not buying a minivan to care, and thinking they need the extra

As far as I’m aware, that’s not the reason for the recall (user operates it correctly, but the system faults and doesn’t perform the change into park). What’s happening is that people think they put it into park, but they really didn’t and the system is operating correctly.

Now your going to tell me I’ve got to squirm around in my seat as I attempt to reach into my pocket to dig out my phone and then text while driving?

Because there wasn’t anything legally wrong with the shifter. Sure, it was confusing, but that is relatively hard to legally compel a company to do a recall. If you used the shifter correctly, it operated correctly. So, the company recognizing that it was confusing, said “Hey guys, we’ll make it less confusing!” and

But now your costs are a lot higher because you can’t share as many parts with it’s platform mates.

Please never work your way to the top of an automotive company.

You got my hopes up.

Why would someone buy a Beetle? It’s a worse Golf.

Fact is, the minivan is dying. GM doesn’t make a minivan anymore (not that the ones they did make were every that great), Ford only has the Transit Connect that is rarely used as a minivan and more as a business hauler, none of the European brands make a minivan for the US. All were left with is the expensive Honda

Cut the Passat CC (it’s old anyways, and sales were pretty bad). Also up for cutting is the Beetle and the Eos.

Am I supposed to feel bad for Marisol Morales?
