No car damage? Every part of the cars is destructible. Bumpers hang off and fall away, same for hoods, door locks break and leave the doors hanging until they eventually come off, the whole front section can compress, paint chips and scrapes, engines smoke and finally burn, and wrecks char. There are no blowing

Nobody knows it was you who hacked the woman with leukemia, or hacked the school drug dealer. There are tons of other hackers in this game, and you'd assume many more you never see.

Knock downs are not non-lethal. This gets mentioned at a few points during the story, and also the pedestrians will scream about a dead body after you've taken down a running criminal in preventing a mugging.

It's like any of these games. People complained about GTA IV's driving physics, but you had to discover their timing, just like you did in Driver: San Francisco, or Sleeping Dogs. There's never been an open world good with "good" driving physics, but there have been a few that were fun when you found their trick. I

You can get through remarkable amounts of it without a gun. It's not Dishonored, but it's not GTA either.

When was the last time you saw a game by any big publisher with no review embargo? It's been a while, for me.

That was a beautiful bedroom you ruined, Chris.

Given the girls' own accounts, it seems one of them was subservient to the other one and had an "Oh shit, this is really happening" moment when she realised what they were finally about to do. All it took was the friendship of a more determined leader. This doesn't mean that girl is less culpable than the other, since

It was invented on Something Awful, in an "invent an urban legend" thread. Calling the original author responsible for this stabbing, or anyone who repeated or added to the meme, is almost unbelievably stupid. There is no "cult leader".

It's just a game, and nobody lied. They wanted to have it out later this year, but now they know they can't. It was reasonable for the studio and the journalists to believe that this was achievable because Rocksteady has been working on this for years. Lies are told for the benefit of somebody, but nobody gains

Yes, it's a vampire story. She probably thinks it was about the witch trials, given that there's the show "Salem" on TV at the moment (which actually is about witches, and pretends that witches and the devil are real).

Yes. Pop pop pop.

This isn't the interesting story. Players of GTA IV discussed deliberately shooting gay NPCs, fat NPCs, Hassidic Jewish NPCs, black NPCs, and there was some consternation about that, as there should be. Every open world gun game will have this problem.

Sadly, this does mean that cheating is going to be rampant! I haven't encountered an unkillable opponent yet, but the Ubi forums show that an awful lot of people have found players who stubbornly refuse to die, even after a grenade launcher or auto-shotgun is completely unloaded on them. There have also been reports

Don't worry about it. Reload is the last control you should want on a more useful button. If anything is going to be on stick-click, reload belongs there. You can also follow a branch on the skill tree that speeds up all reloads, so you could even ignore reload after getting to that ability and let it reload for you.

I've killed a few, chasing them into explode-able traps.

Honestly, this game has some of the best emergent situations I've played in ages. When I first started playing it, I was cautiously explaining that it might not be a game anybody could outright love, but it's a lot better than simply "okay".

my ideas

They're not "hacked" as such, but yes. There are lots of electrical circuits that you can "overload" so that they explode. Who knows how? Science? Pah. But it's fun.

That's not going to be possible while YouTube pays money to uploaders. While they do, if people won't ask permission to use copyrighted background music or footage that's not their own then we're going to have takedown notices. Even if the money wasn't there, it's also not unreasonable for, say, EA to want to be the
