Similar deal in the Welsh valleys, or at least it was in my town. Still, it was nothing to cheer about, since the women's violence during the day was a symptom of the men's violence during the night, so I'd be awake hearing horrific domestic violence through the walls pretty much every night when I was a kid.

QUOTE | "For us, games are not simply an 'added bonus' - they're the whole point." - Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman, responding to analysts who think Amazon's Fire TV will hurt Ouya.

Didn't like the ending? Buy a different one! The one we liked even less than the one we aired, therefore you'll like it or something. It's the Stockholm Edition Boxed Set!

Haha! I'm just wondering if you maybe got different boundaries around what's called a series? Someone else is insisting there's already a series 2 whereas, to the best of my knowledge, series 2 won't be completed for quite a while yet. Trying to think of non-spoilery vague ways of ascertaining this... umm....

Series 2 isn't made yet. It won't be on French & UK TV until 2015, as far as I know.

Are you really sad, or is this a humblebrag? :) That PC is absolutely fine.

I think you confused people because the question was "isn't there a UK version of the French series?" and you answered "yes" :)

Not dubbed, subtititled. Channel 4, in the UK.

"In the Flesh" is not like "Les Revenants". It's very good, but it was a mini-series based on the idea of a story that begins after a cure is found for the zombie virus. It's more about race than zombie-ism, and to an extent about the effects of the Iraq/Afghanistan wars.

My issue is imagining Colbert being contractually obliged to read out the horrible humiliating lines that Letterman has happily trotted out for years. I hope he's allowed to bring new writers.

Ha ha! It doesn't. But she's not Scottish anyway, it seems.

Same age of consent in England and Wales, legally. Culturally though, it's frowned upon pretty heavily for someone who's much older than 16 to have sex with a 16 year old.

I wouldn't say she's mastered sass, really, with her ham-fisted misuse of well-known phrases. A butcher of slang, perhaps.

Definitely not the 13UX: I think it was the 24HD? I had use of one for a full day on loan from a friend. This was a couple of years ago, mind you. I've kept an ear to the ground on reviews and friends' opinions since then, but I haven't heard about any new model that has made a particularly vast improvement on these

Yeah, I have the same feeling about Wacom. They act a lot like Apple (behave like you're the only game in town for graphic designers, fleece a captive market) and that's not a business style I really want to support anymore. Since there isn't really any need to continue with their tablets simply for "industry

Ubisoft's history with always-online requirements has not been a happy one. I think they'd rather let someone else make cloud-assisted gaming into a thing before they join.

Don't the new X99-type chips have 8 cores? They out in a couple of months, I think.

I'm a PC owner, but in a blunt analysis you should definitely get the PS4. I'd say you need $700-$800 to make a PC worth owning right now. Steam Machines might be worth a look very soon.

Although it says 8-core in Recommended, I'll be stunned if a Ubisoft studio has suddenly learned how to address 8 cores. Until very recently, I was having to actually disable cores on an Intel Quad-core CPU in order to prevent crashes in Assassin's Creed titles, which was no loss because the monitor tools showed that

Okay, maybe 3D modelling will tip it over that line then. I'm an audio/visual artist too, so I use 24-bit audio with dozens of simultaneous tracks and effects, and I'm a graphic designer/illustrator, and nothing I do with my machine (even soundtracking film, as I'm doing right now) threatens the 16GB of RAM I put into
