Because if not even BMW will put a clutch pedal in a midsize sedan anymore, what hope is there for any other sedan?

“Faster” =/= “more fun”. Not always, anyway. There are bench racing geeks who will never drive these who will argue that the dual clutches are “superior”, then there are the luxury lifestyle types who can actually afford them that just don’t care to operate a third pedal. Then there are those of us in between, who

So does this mean for the 2017 model year, the only full-size sedan you can get with three pedals in the US will be the Chevrolet SS?

Hey that’s my Alma Mater! Well, the Prescott, AZ campus, anyway. Nothing this cool when I was there. We had a carved up mid-80's March Indy Lights car with a 900 ft-lb monster electric motor bolted in place of the V6. That sucker would turn the tires over in 5th... provided you didn’t blow up the clutch. Sadly the

That James Anders render NAILS it.

Darn!

Sabine and her undeniable talent behind the wheel is probably the only reason I will even attempt to watch the new new Top Gear. Always a treat to see her lap the ‘ring. One of my fave old new Top Gear episodes was the one where she set out to beat Jeremy’s time (set in a Jag) in a Transit van.

Two words:

It “will need to be traded in”? Did you mean to type “won’t”?

Elon says 2017. Conservatively I take that to mean at least 2018. My SS will be paid off by then, because I am very conservative with debts... minimize as much as possible, and where debt is needed, pay it off early.

I have a manual SS. You really think I’d be caught dead in a Prius? Sexy pure electric, sure. Prius? Not a chance.

Egg-smackly, which means a higher fuel price is needed to justify the electric.

Yikes. That’s almost as bad as the Camaro. This car will need a roof rack and top box for hauling stuff, and that will kill the aero, hurting highway range.

FYI for those keeping track, gas will have to get quite high to justify the lease payments on a car like this.

When gas goes to nine bucks a gallon and I have to save the SS for weekends, shows, and track days only, this is now top of my list for an affordable electric commuter. Provided it is fun to drive, because I won't be on autopilot all the time. Fun twisty road with little traffic is an enjoyable drive.

I think it’s “good enough”. They could have lowered that crease a-la Porsche and still met pedestrian standards, but then it really would look like a Porsche knockoff, especially with the lights. I find slight fault with how high and how they shaped the character line, it makes it look like the grille is “missing”. I

Starred for the Saleen Model S pic. Beautiful example of proper grille-less design. Stunning car.

Can I get out of the greys on The Garage? Pretty please?

DeMuro knows where it’s at... SS!

Properly designed Halogens are just fine. Our Outback uses halogen projectors, and they’re pretty darn good. We have to drive pitch-black country roads a lot, so we put headlights to the test. Our Silverado with halogen reflectors actually does a decent job as well. The Durango we had... that was inexcusably poor and
