If your beard has a smell, you’re doing something wrong.

Elizabeth Moss really is incredible. Everything else about this reads as a decent thriller I might watch on HBO in a couple of months, but I find myself more intrigued than I normally would be because she just sells it so well.

I just can’t get over the uninspired design and art. Even if the reviews had been Pixar-original level high, it would still take a lot to get over how ... mundane everything looks, and not in the way they intended.

She really is a great actress--sad to hear this is mediocre, but I’m excited to see her grow and do more things!

I realized I hadn’t even watched a trailer for this (just read about it) because I was sorta surprised to hear it’s grindhouse-y. I’m a little disappointed—considering the cast, I was hoping it was a bit more serious, but I’ll give it a shot.

More than they should have to outside of history books considering today’s world, sadly.

This is walking a fine line between neat idea and stupid, but I think Kevin Smith’s shitty writing (“I’m going to burn the metal that killed my parents”) is what’s actually causing me to feel that way. So consider me still excited!

My only memory is the cool gold duck mask, so I’m sure I watched this at some point when I was very young ... but I have no other memories of it.

He’s not wrong that the general public is surprised how well-adjusted he seems, but not just because of the whole child actor cliche—he was clearly not well a few years ago. I’m really enjoying seeing him pop up again—he’s got a weird but fun sense of humor, he’s a handsome guy (never thought I’d say that 5 or 20

LOL basically yes. I’m all for Square’s spiky haired characters, but you don’t put in more than one or two!

Weirdly, my biggest problem with FFXV is the design. The four main characters look like someone was playing around with alternate versions of Cloud, and I didn’t make it far enough to meet anyone else I gave a shit about. The worlds and environments seem like they get a little better as you go, but the opening section

I get that the general public is taking it as a shot at the VFX, and they sort of were, but anyone who knows anything about the making of the movie know the director is really at fault for it all.

Ugh, I love them to death, but they absolutely do.

The man is clearly drugged out of his mind half the time, so I hope she doesn’t get too much blowback for pointing it out. It should be a huge fucking concern. Also I fully support Nancy in this sort of stuff--the Dems have taken the high road for too long when the other side wasn’t playing fair, and it never gets

Commenters are doing EVERYTHING they can to blame the dealer or the driver or someone other than Tesla. Sure, let’s be sure of the facts and not make assumptions, but cool it on Tesla and Musk people. They’re still a corporation and exist to make money (and they’ve been pretty unprofitable until very recently). They

If anything, they drive me away from Netflix. I know I don’t want them to play so I just hit the home button on my Roku to avoid the noise. Then whenever I come back I’m just as likely to click on any other streaming service.

The original, especially in the Midgar section, was almost completely linear, so be careful with your expectations. Even later, once the game opened up, it took a while for it to REALLY open up and even then the story was mostly linear--you could just go fart around racing chocobos if you wanted.

It’s sad because, from the couple hours of the first one I played before I got kinda bored, I enjoyed the story. The whole Disney villains teaming up with the Heartless to conquer the multiverse or whatever was fun.

“Good” seems like a bit of a stretch. At least there are fewer maguffins, I guess? Trevorrow still would have been behind the camera, and I’ll generally take stupid sith daggers over letting Trevorrow anywhere near Star Wars.

This looks really, really fun.
