Same - I’m not throwing shade at those who have that kind of time, but I just don’t and haven’t for many years, so my videogaming has suffered. The Switch changed that.

I get everything your saying, but PORTABILITY. I’m a busy guy and can’t sit in front of my TV for hours, so the Switch is a literal game-changer for me. I play it on the TV when I can, but then I pick it up and go. I owned Skyrim on the PS3, but played about 2 hours of it in total.

Yes, absolutely, and portability is the obvious reason many will be excited for it. I bought it for PS3 back in the day, but like many gamers over 30 have zero time to sit in front of my TV for hours upon hours, so I played a few hours and then lost track. The Switch solves that problem.

I don’t hate the song, but it feels like a b-side. Reminds me of Robyn’s “Don’t fucking tell me what to do,” except TSwift doesn’t really have the personality to pull it off.

There’s definitely more going on here that we’re not getting, and while I’m not sure it’s as deep as this guy thinks ... this still seems to me like shitty writing. If there is something going on underneath the surface, then there should be better clues than squeaky doors for the audience. I’m not saying it should be

I am 99% sure it will be a terrible spin-off that absolutely no one asked for, it will sell terribly, and Nintendo will go another decade or so without a mainline Final Fantasy game.

I’m excited, but it’s still kinda shitty that they are only just announcing a western release of this when it’s out in Japan. Either way, I hope the Switch version is good, b/c that’s the one I’m most interested in. I don’t have time to spend over a hundred hours in front of my TV!

This is the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a while. Some other commenter elsewhere made a good/fun/annoying point: This is the 2nd step in Nintendo’s journey to modern features: 1. Ignore and deny it for years. 2. Do it in a “unique” way, which just means a stupid, less convenient way. 3. Finally accept it, do it like

I for one applaud people who can obviously not read a single word of the article and still comment with absolute certainty.

I can’t believe I had to get this many comments in before the idiots showed up!

Except this makes so much more sense as Cloud’s hair than any other verison.

It is literally a “what-if” series, and I’m not sure why you have to bring up pandering and all that nonsense. No one said the original characters were white and no big company is trying to shove diversity down your poor white throat.

Yeah, I’ve tried it once or twice, but for me the screen just isn’t big enough to use sitting more than a foot or two away—at least for Zelda. Maybe other games will be different, and I can see how something like 1-2 switch or something may be playable, but it just doesn’t make sense for most games I can think of.

I’ll let the other replies take care of your ridiculous outrage, but if you’re going to come up with a silly lie to back up you being an “expert,” don’t say you’re a philosophy professor. No one believes you, and it makes you sound like a 14 year old trying to establish credibility ... which is probably near your

This. The movie feels like a paint-by-numbers movie about magic ... nothing about it stuck with me. Although, as everyone else has said, Kowalski was great. But then, my favorite moments from the original movies are when someone just looks in wonder at something magical (usually Harry). When you sit through 2-3 hours

I could not believe how little I liked this movie. I have read the books and watched the movies many, many times, and I was super into the idea of this. But the movie just ... stunk. I remember none of the characters’ names except for Newt and Kowalski, which should say something about how forgettable they are. I

I felt the same way about the rubber armor—I love the way it looks and wear it a lot just because of that. I finally found the headpiece and was just kinda shocked—I mean, it’s cool looking in its own way, but just seems so random and not like it fits with the rest of the outfit.

This happened for me with multiple armors/outfits. I just didn’t explore the towns enough (likely because I saw something cool, got distracted, and then repeated that pattern until I was miles away from the town).

I can think of few I haven’t loved, even the tests of strength! I was terrified when I got my ass handed to me the first time I stumbled into a major test of strength, but slowly learning how to hit them and avoid their attacks, when to run away or float on the updraft, and just what I needed to beat them (Ancient

He openly discussed his views, it wasn’t like someone leaked some private conversation. He openly stated racist, anti-immigrant views (which are almost so nonsensical that we should ignore them ... almost). I’m not sure what you’re problem is, but it sounds like you’re probably looking for a way to be one of those
