I’m with these guys—I liked it when I first got it, and have only grown to love it since. I can nitpick if I have to, but overall I am so impressed by it, especially for a Nintendo product. I also haven’t had any left joy-con issues, and none of my friends have either, but apparently we’re the lucky ones.

I HATED this mission. I tried it a few times, gave up, and had to come back the next day so I wouldn’t throw my Switch across the room. It doesn’t help that it seemingly goes on forever. I know it was only a few minutes long, but it felt MUCH longer than that, especially after failing a few times and being in a

I don’t want to sound like a fanboy, but I have had almost none of these problems. The kickstand sucks, sure, and the charging port on the bottom is somewhat annoying (although the fact that it needs to be to connect to the dock makes sense).

The Verge review says it does NOT support USB-C to HDMI cables, unfortunately.

Do you just prefer random battles b/c you’re a DQ/old-school RPG purist? I love RPGs, especially SNES and PSX-era JRPGs, but the one thing I hated more than anything was random battles. That change is honestly the only reason I sprang for the 3DS version. I loved the original game, but random battles still send me

Are people genuinely upset/bothered by the quality of the actual presentation at the Switch event? I mean, I heard complaints about the translator, but I honestly can’t believe that’s something people are complaining about. I’m pretty excited for the Switch and a huge Nintendo fanboy, but there are MORE than enough

As C.M. Allen said, the Civ animations have the benefit of not competing with a million other characters/animations for processor power. BUT, they are fucking amazing, and I wish other developers would take note.

I’m curious as well. Just the “survival” aspect alone makes me think it will be more difficult than past Zeldas.

I mean, I think there’s a lot more to Euron that we haven’t learned yet, but does a giant monster rising up from the deep and consuming Oldtown really sound like something Martin would write for ASOIAF?

Sorry to trash the prequels again, they’re really not worth it, but this scene is exactly what they were missing: joy and humanity. The characters SMILED and reacted the way normal “kids” would react to doing something so cool. Agreed 100%.
