I think 101 Dalmations absolutely belongs there. Sleeping Beauty does only because it's the most beautiful movie Disney has ever made.

It was never my favorite as a kid, that was either The Lion King or Aladdin, but as the years have gone by it has steadily gained in my "rankings" to easily be my favorite. Many of their movies from that era (or their golden age) are great, but few are perfect. This one is perfect.
It's funny, I remember hearing mediocre things about Lilo when it came out, so I never saw it. Now I only hear wonderful things about it.
Agreed. The Lion King is probaby my favorite, but I can definitely find faults with it (and others from that time, like Aladdin or Little Mermaid). I can't really find any faults with B&tB.
Brendan Frasier's "The Mummy" was da best.
This seems like the worst idea ever.
Same. I really wanted it to be good because I like some of the actors (but let's be honest, mostly Anna Camp, who has a habit of elevating even a mediocre character). The pilot had all of the flaws mentioned above, but I hoped the interesting story and actors might overcome it.
As long as at least some of them are practical, rather than CGI, I'll take it. The CGI one at the end of Prometheus was too fake to elicit any fear or even excitement from me—I'm an Alien(s) freak, so seeing the predecessor to the Xenomorph should get me all excited, but all I did was nitpick the CG.
I've said it a thousand times, but the scene with the chase through the college is perfect Indy. I giggled when he stopped to quickly educate that student after crashing into the library.
I'm a little surprised at the lack of love in the comments, but perhaps Ashton Kutcher's stink doesn't wear off easily. I always loved this show, and rewatching now on Netflix it's still a really funny, well-written show. And I very much appreciated the angle they took on weed. The parents may freak about it from time…
I AM SO CONFUSED BY THE WWE COVERAGE! I'm from Kentucky, and since I moved away I have heard almost no mentions of the WWE in pop culture. Like, at all. But for some reason, AV Club is still updating me on every twist and turn. It's just so random.
THANK YOU! I was so puzzled why we would get 15 reviews of the WWE per week, but you cancel things like this and Adventure Time. I'm still mad about that, but I'll move on.
Pink would be freaking fantastic. She's an incredible performer and I can only imagine what she'd do with such a big budget and stage.
I freaking love her, but you really need a performer/dancer for the Halftime Show. Remember Coldplay playing last year? No, because they just jumped around on stage to their lame new music. But you do remember Beyonce being there.
While I do think it's just a flaw owing to the writing, you can come up with some legit explanations for why we don't get more about Barb. She's older, so it's not surprising that the police or her parents assume she's just run away rather than being dead. And, since her parents are likely level-headed, normal folk,…
I'm literally coming to tears just reading about this episode. I've also heard some critics of Winona in this, on the internet and from friends, and I feel like people are bringing some of their own perceptions of her into this. I think she gives a fucking phenomenal performance, especially considering the writing…
The TV spots I've seen don't seem to spoil anything we haven't already seen, so maybe it's just the tone he wants you to avoid. They're all set to Beastie Boys, they all make it look like a generic action movie, and they all feature TERRIBLE jokes that sound straight out of a Michael Bay movie.
Robbie was born beautiful and got naked in a Scorsese movie, so she deserves a shitty story about her looks? You are very much part of the problem.
Cameron Crowe is too goddamn talented to continue his obsession with rock bands and tours, especially considering how much the returns have diminished. Then again, his last few projects about things other than rock have been complete turds, so maybe he's just lost it. It's so sad, because through Almost Famous he…
This is really disappointing to hear. I never see the episodes when they air, but I still check out every Adventure Time review I see, just to see where the show is and to check out the discussion. It seems rather stupid to discontinue this show but continue with certain other shows (even ones I like, like Mindy…
