You can try and stretch anything into an automotive-related story when your only goal is to get hate clicks.

“It’s a Monday, so let’s make sure to publish the most heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, awful, horrible story possible for no reason. Like something your brain would make you think of at 2 in the morning when you’re trying to sleep but can’t because depression. Also please ensure it’s not automotive related at all.

They’re solid choices, but getting them to go fast or aftermarket support aren’t important factors to someone looking for a cheap new car though. Someone looking for a recommendation likely doesn’t know much about cars so won’t be modifying whatever they get, and someone looking for a cheap new car is looking to buy

You are paying $8,900 for a government abused, equipment spliced in then ripped out, 12 year old Chevy from Chevy’s second darkest period that has been modded by someone named “Gary” that claimed it is “Better then...BMW M5...”

Anecdotal counterpoint: I haven’t had issues tracking down parts (OEM or aftermarket equivalents) for my 2008 Honda Fit.

I have never had an issue getting parts on an older Japanese car. I had a ‘92 Miata, ‘01 Acura RL and now have an ‘07 Highlander Hybrid and a “13 Lexus CT. While I haven’t needed any parts for the Lexus, the others I had no issue anytime I needed anything.

I’ve always wondered if the reason this, the Lincoln Mark LT successor, and the Escalade EXT failed is because Americans want a luxury pickup from a “regular” brand like Chevy and Ford, rather than their upmarket labels? Is it some kind of wanting to masquerade as owning a rough-and-tumble truck, but with the sneaky

126 000 miles on a 17 year old BMW.  No Dice

But but but... boot straps?

It would sure be wonderful to see all the money wasted on book banning, and abortion denying, and the hundreds of other anti-American activities, we could instead show we are a first class nation and care for our sick and suffering.

The genius of the Prius is still not quite appreciated. Not only for things like this, but for just how bulletproof they are. It’s even more impressive when you think of how new hybrid technology was when it came out. It’s about the cheapest non-EV you could possibly own - I know I miss my ‘04 terribly.

Thank you. The unnecessary stereotyping of CVTs as inferior needs to stop. If I’m not buying a car with a manual transmission, I couldn’t care less how the automatic is configured.

I love this guys videos. And his Philly/Jersey suburbs accent reminds me of the crowd I went to college with.

An AWD Hybrid Lifted Sienna please: https://www.journeysoffroad.com/2021-4th-gen-sienna-lift-kits.html

PS CVTs are not the issue. Your Outback’s CVTs are the issue. Most Hybrids are CVTs and we’ve had a Lexus RX450h go 250k miles without any issues.

Yea seriously, if there is any brand that has had terrible reliability in engine/transmission in the past 10 years, its Hyundai/Kia. Terrible recommendations

Not wanting a CVT limits their options in the hybrid market. I’d say they need to accept that their Outback was a lemon and not indicative of all CVTs, but I completely understand why they don’t want another one. 4 transmissions in 50,000 miles sounds like a nightmare to deal with regardless of has to pay for them.

Ignore the three terrible suggestions of a Kia/Hyundai product and go with something reliable...

Social media and the immediate and endless thread of news which glorifies violent headlines and makes something tragic in California cause anxiety for someone living in New Jersey

Such an excellent article where politics was intentionally and easily avoided followed up by the most presumptuous paranoid nonsense perfectly making the point of how fearful so many are of everything, but especially the other team.

I will not stand for this slander of the 3800.
