Exactly the same experience here. My wife and I had a ‘13 Si sedan as our family car, until someone T-boned it. We both love the car and love Honda, but I can’t get her within twenty feet of the current line of Civics. It is a shame since on paper the manual sport hatchback was made for us.  We went with an Alltrack

Ah - you’re right I have had that wrong all this time, thanks.

Unpopular opinion: They’d sell more of these if they offered it with the DCT found in the ILX.

All sounds good, but was hoping for a optional high-bitrate codec as well for improved audio quality.

No personal experience jumping off bridges either but I know that ain’t good for you. What you’re stating is know as a hasty generalization fallacy, why does everyone seem to think their n=1 is enough to refute a large amount of contrary evidence? Car and Driver tested 3 launch models and all 3 had issues.

Just a heads up: If you get shitty or mean in these comments I’ll remove them. Go be an asshole somewhere else.

I think the primary danger is to themselves. They are too light to put the public at a significant risk. There is not much more than anecdotal evidence that they do much more than annoy the public.

I think Hertz sales let’s you rent before you buy. So you get a 3 day test drive of the actual car you are considering and it’s free if you do end up buying

I’ll be honest I’m more worried about the fact Jalopnik is dying. Endless articles doing a hot take on other peoples articles is not journalism.

I get that this entire thread is a shit-on-Clarkson kinda thread, but the Trump comparison is taking it a little too far by several measures.

Clarkson acknowledged that climate change is an issue. Great.

She (and more specifically her handlers) aren’t alerting anyone to anything new, they’re just furthering the outrage news cycle, selling clicks and Ads and doing absolutely nothing about the problem.

Remember when Leonard Nimoy pandered the “next ice age is coming” on In Search Of in the 70's?

Obviously everyone in GMG loves Greta, because you exist in an outrage economy. Climate action doesn’t matter as much as outrage, and you take every step to ensure that the discussion remains outrage focused, to sell your CAR ADS!

This is JC. He plays this character for comedy and to elicit exactly the type of reaction here in your article. These types of reactions are the real comedy.

I don’t agree with Clarkson hating on Greta, but I think his message is valid. Why should we sit around and argue about how we are going to die and when we are going to die, instead of focusing on how to fix these issues?

Cool you do you bro. Ill still call out these trends as stupid. Stupid looking and stupid mechanically. Drive your car, dont ruin it.

get a SiriusXM subscription. There are at least half a dozen channels per genre, plus artist headed channels (like LL Cool J, Tom Petty, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen, etc) that don’t only play their music, but other music that influenced them. Even better, on the mobile app and web app, you can custom mix channels to get
