That’s actually a re-bodied Golf.

Of course people say things like that. You get a bunch of people in a room who have suffered an assault, and some of them will blame themselves and will also blame others for “putting themselves” in a position to be harmed.

All-femme triathlon groups are safe spaces.

I’m all for people protesting as much as they want. He doesn’t deserve any protection from protest. But, our freedoms aren’t always protections.

C’mon. There’s a substantive difference between a “safe space” and a support group. I belong to a very necessary support group. One of the goals of the group, beyond helping people process trauma, is teaching people how to interact with the world without fear. We don’t take any pains to protect each other from

I’m a dedicated liberal. “Safe spaces” are a joke. One can choose what and what not to listen to and/or believe. Adults, in particular (and that’s what college kids are) should be able to process things that offend them. The world is rife with “micro-aggressions”; if one demands an echo chamber during this phase of

Do you mean to say that it should be really easy? Because the sketch is illustrating (albeit exaggeratedly for comedic purposes) a common general sentiment held by average or common people. Whether something is easy or hard is mostly relative, so, if most (or a plurality of) people think something isn’t easy, it

You are not ridiculous. I felt your words pointing to youtube comments as an objective measure of the value of the sketch was ridiculous, and I wrote as much.

Isn’t that what most centrist democrats and independents did? No one tunes into SNL to tell them how to vote.

Explain this SNL reponsible for Trump theory? Seriously now.

Thats ridiculous, just because some right wing jerk happens to agree with a particular argument doesn’t mean that there is something wrong with SNL.

That babe.net article and the writer’s later response to criticism certainly were provocative. The SNL sketch reflected that people will project without even a cursory attempt to consider a different point of view.

Great sketch. I think it perfectly hit the topic without choosing sides.

The sketch could’ve ended with, say, the server interrupting with a strong stance against clear sexual violation, but I’m no comedy writer.

It’s a sketch, not a PSA

Ummm ok? It’s still incredibly inappropriate for someone with no relationship to said child to call them a “pissant” on a regional radio station.

Going after 5 year old kids just kills it with the douchebag demographic. WEEI is a fucking cesspool.

This will end well.

Red was the best of their early incarnation...however, I would have picked Starless as the song to play. It’s longer and has one the best finales in rock (the best in my opinion)

I need to buy this one - already have In The Court of the Crimson King and Larks’ Tongues in Aspic.
