If dealers want to not be cut out, they should consider not being utter shit.

What am I missing here? Siemens already has a production facility outside Sacramento, CA. Does that not count?
This......thing....has nothing to do with the vehicle. Nor does purchasing the exact same thing for 1/10th the price and DIYing it. In fact, I’d argue that’s MORE in line with “lifestyle vehicles”.
Could you just buy a two-burner induction cooktop and a folding table? Absolutely, and it would be significantly cheaper than Rivian’s travel kitchen, but it wouldn’t be on-brand.
Man I really wanted them to work out. I’ve seen a lot of Oceans here in SoCal and they always catch my eye. I think a lot of the functionalities they worked into the cars are great, too. But all of the criticisms and downfalls are valid, from what I can see. Shame.
These are both gonna sound pretty dumb but I have two.
I put this at about a negative 3.4% chance of actually happening. Negative 1000% chance of happening by next summer.
I said it the minute I saw the Bronco Sport: The Bronco Sport is the SUV the Escape should have been.
“Quite as much”
I know it’s a Jalopnik cliche, but for me personally, it’s a wagon. I don’t like driving SUVs or trucks, but I need cargo space.
Yea.....ummm....I’d buy that. Good looking car, and affordable.
As someone who loves cars and the game of golf, this is a bargain compared to country clubs. I would be much more enticed to join this. Track time could become an issue but the price looks like a nice deal.
Or, and I’m just spitballing here, save yourself thousands of dollars in medical costs and actual pain, and put the chip in a super thin wristband that is basically invisible.
Look....I’m generally not in favor of the death penalty, but I’m giving serious contemplation to it getting real consideration in this case. Absolutely sickening.
I’ve never driven a real race track - only virtually via sims. But my favorite, far and away, is Spa. It’s just never boring. Ok, maybe 3 seconds on the Kemmel straight is boring, but other than that, it’s constant action. And it’s beautiful...sweeping, flowing, and oh so good when you get it right.
Anything more than a 45 minute drive (NOT mile) gives me shutters. I’m in San Diego and have a 15 minute one-way commute without traffic. With traffic, it approaches 25 minutes and I freak the eff out.
Henceforth I shall call it the Buzzforks.
MazeSpin lol
I’ve always said that my threshold for purchasing an EV is 400+ miles of range with 80% charging in 15 minutes or less. So, sure, this car probably checks that off. Now to get these specs in a nice little package that costs around...oh....1/3 of what this one costs? Then we’re cooking with gas…
