These are so fascinating and so scary at the same time. Watching it get back up slowly makes me want to run....fast!

Just for arguments sake, not that I am disagreeing with you, there are plenty of custom chips in Apple products.

Not necessarily...

Totally hideous and wildly drab, I would take it and make it into something else for $2000. CP at $5K!

The weird part about it for me is that on the e-class (and others) Mercedes cars with this issue, it is limited to the main engine wiring harness and the throttle body wiring harness. Everything else on the car is not the same type of wire and has no issues.

I didn't realize that was an issue not exclusive to Mercedes. It was something that I inspected for when I bought my 95 E320 Estate. The main engine wiring harness was in terrible shape on the car but no related damage had been done to the ECU yet and there were no trouble codes so I bought it anyway. I promptly

Yes, yes and yes. Anyone know what the weight difference is between a modern 1.8T and a VR?

That's right! And right in the box I got a blue one and a super obnoxious caution!!!- orange one.

Ohhh, 447 np to 444 cp right now!. I would totally rock this vw and the old school dash angles don't bother me at all. I'd have to put some modern seats in it, maybe from a 2003 Jetta Wolfsburg and then work on putting in a VR6 of some flavor. Either way, there's something that is just more slick about Scirocco

My first phone was the Motorola V2297 which I purchased with AT&T (or Cingular, actually) in March of 1997. It wasn't clunky or heavy like the ones in the ad above. It was actually somewhat thin, lightweight and totally reliable for the time I had it. I have been with AT&T for 14 years?? Eck.

What happened to the post about "This will be what the next iPhone looks like or I'll shave my whole body"? I can't seem to find it now. Has Giz recalled that post or does the bet still stand?

No, a 2004 VW Rabbit R32.

No, a 2004 VW Rabbit R32.

Thank you, thank you.

Nice story! I can just see it now. "Hey man, let's buy super green cars that will get super MPGs and we will be sailing around town like we are off the grid!

After having "backyard" repaired my own vehicles growing up, I got an entry level tech job at a local Ford dealership. Truth be told, I had some friend of the family connections there and one of my older brothers used to work in the same shop as a mechanic before becoming a Snap-On tool dealer (coincidentally, that

This car is All I Need. I mean, in the supercar industry, Anyone Can Play Guitar but not everybody can take a design and let it Bloom into such a fantastic Black Star! I could see blasting this beast down a curvy mountain side at 150 mph feeling like I'm Bullet Proof...I Wish I Was. Porsche designs are like a

Two of my favorite bands are Dave Matthews Band and a growing indie rock band called Blind Pilot. It seems the two of them couldn't be any more opposite of eachother right now.

I recommend the band Blind Pilot. They are a perfect example of hard touring, super busy indie rock band who had record level sales on iTunes for their first album 3 years ago. This week, they released their second studio album and their marketing blitz has been strong. I'm curious as to how they are doing

I've got about 50,000 emails in my junk mail folder stating exactly what your asking for. Just give me your address and I'll forward them along to you!
