Lol. Restaurateurs are making money. Tourists who open a restaurant “for fun” but don’t give it their full attention aren’t making money in the restaurant business.

I’ve always rolled my eyes at these tv musicals, but damn if that wasn’t great.
My idea of ladies night is laying on my couch, watching Marple and drinking a martini. But that’s just me.
I’m $4,600 away from paying off my loans, so at this point, I’m just 6 months away from freedom. But if I was 21 again, just graduating, and looking at the number I started with, you better believe I’d audition for this.
HOWWWW did I not realize Amy Adams was in Drop Dead Gorgeous???
Nah, looks like they’re giving her cancer.
My restaurant stopped carrying them to be environmentally conscious...and then promptly got an email from some lady saying that single use straws prevent the spread of immune disorders. Damned if we do, damned if we don’t.
Ha yes! Also in season 5, when Amy Gardner is Abbey’s chief of staff, she is so obviously pregnant and their solution? Have her hold things in front of her belly, and wear the most ridiculous low cut tops around the White House so we’d what? Focus on her boobs instead of her belly? These are professional women!! Why…
*re-watching
That’s what I was wondering!!
I have no opinion about this specifically, but I did really love Sing Street.
I feel so bad for laughing.
I’m rematching the West Wing, and the amount of midriff on adult, professional women when they’re “dressed down” is blowing my mind. I’m 33, and my midriff hasn’t been seen outside of a bathing suit in like 10 years.
You think? I’ve never thought of her life as pathetic. She lives in a town she loves, in a beautiful home, has a parade of young studs to get busy with, and gets to be a fan and important contributor to the sport that is her passion. I always got the feeling from the way things end with Nuke, that she is the one…
Snort.
I’m sorry that happened to you. But I think it’s dishonest and unfair to equate one experience, scary as it was, to a lifetime of aggressions from white people (micro or otherwise) that POCs face in this country.
I don’t like her music, but dammit if I do like her.
Well, this is a “heard through the grapevine” thing, but a girl I went to high school with had a cousin that was a Columbine victim. And she confirmed that her cousin was, indeed asked that question, and then shot when she said yes. But I don’t know if the girl I knew originally got that from her family, or from the…
I went to college with Qveen Herby (whose real name is Amy) and she was a pretty nice, relatively normal person. Now I just feel like she’s trying way, way too hard.
I don’t like agreeing with Katy Perry on anything really but...I agree. I feel like the bodice and sleeves were just a bit too loose, and at some angles it made her look a tad shapeless. Still, lovely dress.
