That is a negative.. I mean a bigger screen will always make it easier to see what's going on.
However, it doesn't take anything away from the game. You get used to it pretty fast. I mean if you buy it on the 3DS you know going into it that it's going to be a smaller screen.
I have the XL and it's fine- definitely not…

I've only played the demo, but playing a 4 player match can get pretty hectic on the small screen. I've often lost my character for a split second, which can be crucial. That being said, 3 player matches are just fine and the fact that the game is portable makes up for that shortcoming in my mind.
