For me, the part that hit the hardest was right before that, when Kratos returns home to fetch something you can tell he really doesn’t want to unearth again. That the developers waited for that long in the game to introduce them made the emotional beat land perfectly.

After I read the books I realized there was so much more to these characters that is left unsaid, so much emotion. The games are fantastic, but after you read the books you will realize how empty these…

I hope you don’t come away from these articles feeling like they are an accurate representation. They are a controlled message, dolled out deliberately and, usually, endorsed with the thin veneer of “journalisim” the gaming press likes to pretend it has.

She is also one of the few companions that you can actually marry in game and all her interactions in Trespasser are great especially if you marry her and keep her around in your party for it. (Too bad I wanted that shiny staff during Iron Bulls loyalty mission.. Oops..)

And I missed it entirely, even though I was romancing her, due to the annoying “you have to speak to people at exactly specific stages, or you blow the whole chain” thing. I missed one conversation step near the end, and grrrrrr......

The whole bit about your gift to her, the whole conversation after you have sex, her interactions with the other followers (Iron Bull in particular... they are hilarious together), her fear of magic... she is just an awesome character.

Her sex scene may be the best Bioware have done together with Bulls one.

Pair her up with Blackwall in your crew. They usually play well off one-another. Though if you already don’t like her, then it might not actually help :/

I always thought Blade doesn’t get the credit it deserves because the movie isn’t very comic book-y and is more of a 90s action/horror movie. It doesn’t help the Blade is a minor comic character, though that fact actually helped get the movie made.
