You can. It just takes huge, dab levels of dosage, and is certainly not a similar experience.

I allude to this to in my response to OP, but Ryuji’s flaw is that he is the early “dumb” character that is used to state exposition. He becomes less necessary as the game moves forward and more refined/genre specific characters are introduced, and he tends to stick out as his sole purpose is reactionary while others…

Early in the game, you need a character dumb enough to state exposition every time it occurs, esp with a mostly silent protagonist. Later in the game it’s not as necessary, but it’s his character so his expressions feel a bit redundant as other characters offer more refined versions of what’s going on.

A similar take on painting the world to make it visible, like “The Unfinished Swan”

Horizon ruined other games for me, at least for a little while. It wasn’t flawless, but it was so damn good at everything it wanted to do.

Completely agree. However MS if big enough that can absorb selling hardware at a loss and can profit on software.
