I (not military), like you, have had guns drawn on me or me/my friends a few different times, twice I would consider serious or threatening (not for bravado or police related), and have been shot at once.

I feel (always great way to make an argument...) like I’ve seen the amount reduced upon taking cover in places like Red Rocket. You do have to get far enough in, i.e. not stand in or near a doorway and the amount of rads you gets reduced (never goes below 1, but will drop from 5 on a lightning strike to 2 or 3).

Radiation does go down when you get under shelter. At least I think it does?

I went about 10-15 minutes of being outside before my first one (just as I found Red Rocket). It made the world feel really immersive.

We use less cream and more sugar, and it just plain is not as good as the traditional European ratios.

IIRC, as a teenager, he had to sue his family to take control of it after they had spent a chunk of it. I also think he ended up financially supporting his younger siblings.

Persona 4 (golden if possible), is the most user friendly of the bunch, and the small town setting is really refreshing. It also eliminates some of the unnecessary(?) complexities of previous editions.
