I don’t know how it is in Idaho, but in many states, once a car is bought by a salvage yard, the title is converted to junk/certificate of destruction/etc, so it’s impossible to sell it out of the yard. Some yards are less scrupulous and some states less stringent, but this car, rareness be damned, might be doomed to

L&L Auto Parts? I’ve never been there, but I know it’s supposed to be really good. It’s nice because they sort the cars into “projects” and “parts”, so cars that are potentially salvageable don’t get parted out and remain pretty complete.

It’s probably hers, how many others could there possibly be?

HOLY CRAP, THIS JUNKYARD IS ONLY A SHORT DRIVE AWAY FROM WHERE I LIVE! I’ve driven past that place loads of times! I never would’ve guessed something like that was hiding there... It’s definitely not the only interesting car around here, though. There’s a guy in in the area who owns a Willys Knight that’s one of only

It would make an excellent companion to this late 50's Auto Union (DKW) 1000 SP, which is a 70% scale Thunderbird.

That Prince Skyline looks like a typical 60's American car but shrunken to 70%.

This Prince May well have wound up in Idaho as part of a military transfer, but my eldest sister owned a brand new left-hand driver’s position blue Prince 4-door sedan in Idaho Falls in 1960. I thought I remembered her Prince having a white or cream colored top, but 1960 was a long time ago. I remember she loved the

To be honest, to my eye that looks completely anonymous, even drab.

Back during the 1970's most US automakers chose not to sell vehicles directly to Israel because of Arab-Israeli tensions. If they sold to Israels, the Arab nations would ban importation of their products. So, private importers traveled to Europe or the US to buy cars and import them privately.

Gulf states (Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain)

Yeah, but Volvo owners are better educated. Mercedes owners, too. It’s only the @$$hats in BMW’s and A4's that don’t have a clue...

What are you talking about with the blinking bit?

I prefer reverse lights, calling them backup lights sounds like they are there in case the primary ones burn out. Which, on a GM, is going to be sooner rather than later.

The 160/161 GS has aged much better than the W210 to my eye. The design continues to look understated and modern.

Indiglow bruh. I don’t care what anyone says, still looks cool to me.

Definitely can’t hate on that interior. To me this speaks of the good taste and richness Lexus nailed in the late 90s/early 00s.

Management knows this, it is their marketing clients that are the ones they’re trying to wow with the “numbers go up” line

Hi. I’ve got one. Almost 250k and the lights are perfect.

The style and symmetry is good... but if you want a real automotive challenge, find one out on the road today where the inner tail lights are not faded!  Now that’s a rare find.
