Iran has said multiple times it will bomb the US but the US & EU stance so far is that we don't want to bomb Iran, we just want access to their nuclear facilities to conclude they are not being used for weapons. So far, we have restrained from most military threats to Iran. The most we have done is use sanctions. Even

You do realize we have plenty of US bases, Embassies (considered American Soil), and other American targets within EASY reach of Irans missiles. Just because they can't strike the east coast doesn't mean they can't destroy American's or US targets. That's a BIG freaking deal.

I guess if i'm planning on a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, I may be better off with a discounted Sandy Bridge system since the biggest improvements of Ivy Bridge won't help computers using the dedicated graphics.

Could not agree more. Apparently Matt spends his days browsing photos. I do both 3D cad and photography and there is no way I could do either without a mouse or pen input. My finger just won't give me the precision I need. Though with some larger icons in the standard browser & MS Office, most people could probably

I think there are still a fair number of people who don't have wifi in their homes. My sister who uses an iphone & ipad does not have internet at her home because she can access everything from her 3g ipad. Saves alot of $. It further complicates IT work and i'm sure it complicates swapping hard drives, reformatting,

It was awesome till the last 45 seconds...then it got weird in a very gruesome way.

Every Nexus phone has gotten upgrades for 2-3 years. Typically Google upgrades every 6-12 months too so you will probably get at least 3 major release updates. You may still want an iphone, but the 'update slowness' or 'unsupported' argument only works for select Android phones. So far, Google has supplied a Nexus

Get a Nexus and grow up.

You mean most countries don't build their nuclear energy facilities burred in underground secret bunkers??? As much as a horror I think it would be for Israel or the US to put Iran out of business, I don't know that anyone has much of a choice anymore. We have tried everything short of bombing the piss out of them and

I seriously doubt Iran will give us a perfect timeline to them making a bomb. Most likely if they are announcing this, they are about a step or 2 further ahead. They know the closer they get the harder the US, EU, and Israel will try to stop them so I would be very surprised if they don't make announcements after the

Guess you think walmart shouldn't sell iphones, ipads, and ipods anymore.

Walmart is just a distributor. They have no control over how products are made. Apple has direct control over their products. There are plenty of other manufactures that allow bad working conditions as well but most are not American companies with the power of Apple.

Those wings are designed to flex ALOT during flight. Same with the Boeing 787 which also has had cracks. Guess that's what happens when you use reinforced plastics for a wing. They probably should have tried replacing the wings of a small airplane with the same composite plastic material for testing first.

I'm hoping for a D300 replacement or Canon's 5D mark III though I highly doubt you will see another full frame Nikon anytime soon. I'm worried Canon will copy Nikon though. But maybe canon will stick with 22MP with the new digic 5 sensor. That would probably yield a stop better ISO performance and 5-6fps

I was hoping for an upgrade from the D700, not a new type of camera. The D4 was a better D3s, improved in every way. Any D3s owner can't not like the D4. The D800 is not a new D700. If Nikon wanted to bring out this type of camera, it should have been the D4x and included an Ethernet port, wireless, integrated

If any camera should have been a megapixel eater it should have been the D4 with LAN ability and other features for studio work. The D800 should be an on the run camera with it's smaller size, optional battery grip, and fewer studio features. No wedding or location based photographers I have ever met has ever wanted

Because one of the advantages to digitizing media is that now it can be everywhere...unbelievably portable. I can listen to my music tons of devices whether i'm in my car, home, work, or bus. I can even listen to it without having any physical media through the cloud. This is the future. Apple is digitizing textbooks

With the books only readable on idevices, you can't read them on your computer at home (unless it's also an idevice), on your phone, e-reader, or personal non Apple tablet either. Sounds like 2 steps forward 1 step back to me.

Not many people try to steal my history book. Good luck keeping your backpacks in most k-12 schools and even colleges. Backpacks will be the new hottest stolen item if they all contain ipads.

Some internet companies are going to be pro SOPA/PIPA...primarily ones that either produce or distribute content for the big media companies.
