I don't think it matters. It is the quality that matters. I sell Mercedes, and most of their wood is very nice. However, some of their matte woods are VERY VERY elegant AND trendy. I have had two Lincoln Town Cars, which are notorious for fake wood. Some of their Continental and Mark counterparts (occasionally) had

Without even having to think twice: The AMC I-6 (for the point of this article, size really doesn't matter). Why? Because it is can basically survive anything. This was built from early 1960's until 2005 when the TJ Wrangler was discontinued. It is smooth. It gets decent economy. It is relatively bullet-proof, and

How about any Lincoln that used to, um, actually sell? A big, square sedan

I remember being in a blizzard with my Eagle seeing some idiot kids who managed to get their Subaru stuck in the snow. I just thought to myself....maybe there really is something to this car. Just to show off a little, I climbed up and over the same snowbank they were stuck on and promptly drove away. Thanks AMC Eagle

Some say Miatas, but sometimes the 240 really is always the answer. Especially for anyone ever needing more than a two-seater.....

I do too. You are not alone. Perfect economical beater.

I remember as a kid (granted, I was like 12) being really excited when these came out because I really liked the 1980's Monte SS's. This has the 'kink' (swoop?) in the fenders that car had. More more I learned about them, the more I loathed them. By the time I was 16, I was no longer interested. To quote Car and

The funny part about what you posted is that the SX/4 was discontinued in 1983......

I want! I want! I HATE Japanese cars usually, and.....I'M IN LOVE. I mean, hell, its SQUARE! I LOVE square cars :). And, I'm 26, so that puts me right in the wheelhouse. Need evidence I love square cars? I drive a fucking square Lincoln. Square is easier to park and see out of. My AMC Eagle is awfully square as well.

Most Mercedes-Benz's

I was never a fan of the Eclipses/Talons. While the MX-6 was not my favorite car either, I always found them attractive; not hideous. Would I drive one? Probably not. Did I vote for it over the boy-racer-wannabe Talon? Yuppers.

My 1983 Ford Thunderbird V6 was THE WORST winter car I have ever driven. Normally, I love RWD in the snow because you technically can control BOTH ends of the car. Also, I usually put snow tires on my RWD cars, but since this was an extra car, I didn't. The rear wheels would literally just spin in drive with no gas

I thought it was a penguin too! Before I opened the article, on the main page I said to myself..."Unicycle? That a fucking penguin. what the hell??"

8.) Lincoln Town Car

Yuppers. They took the radical Pacer body...and because it was 1978....AMC execs apparently thought the Pacer was screaming, "But mommy and daddy! I want to be Broughamy too! Pleeeeese!" Unfortunately, AMC brass didn't speak Pacer apparently because it was actually crying "Dammit you fools! Can you give me a heart

I have a buddy that calls the 87-93's "Tempostangs"

AMC Eagle: Old- "This is practical, and gets better gas mileage than a Jeep" New- "Hipster needing 4x4" (I have an Eagle, and am willing to make fun of myself)

If three cars make the list, they have been mentioned and I agree wholeheartedly:

The AMC Eagle community thanks the world for recognition of the love, sweat, tears, beer, and curse words we use every day to keep our cars running.
