I've seen games where folks tried to move him where he did little or no damage...and games that started out cutting folks off at the knees. (Which always resulted in retaliation, that game or later...)

Not only has that star system been moved onto its own server, but yes, everything gets slowed down so the server has a prayer of handling it (referred to as "Time Dilation", or "TiDi"). An apocalyptic battle like this can get things to 10% or worse TiDi.
