If your only professional qualification is that you can drive a car, you really shouldn’t be surprised when you’re easily replaced.

Man, you are grossly overestimating what those sensors see. Speaking of what sensors “see,” how is this going to work when weather becomes a factor?

I have not, at least not from close enough to compare them (or know if it was a C or D model). Have not made it to a Thunderbirds show yet! Most of my time was spent on Navy airbases, but I could totally buy the F-18 being on the quieter side. From what I understand, exhaust velocity is the primary noise factor so it

F-35B’s in normal operation sound the same as the A’s and C’s

We don’t have access to SpaceX finances. I suspect most of his liquid assets get tied up there even with the revenue they get from frequent launches

When your goal, as a singular human being, is “make the human species inter-planetary,” then suddenly numbers with 9 zeroes in it don’t look quite so big

Amazon didn’t make any profit for many, many years. If only you had been there to save them.

The F-35B is quieter than the legacy F/A-18C/D during all approaches and is slightly louder (2 dB) than the F/A-18 C/D on takeoff.

Which F-16 are those numbers for? They seem a bit low

Personally, I draw a distinction between victims who were no threat at all, like Freddie Gray and Eric Garner, not to mention completely innocent people like Philando Castile and Justine Damond; and violent criminals like the man in this video.

BTW, Let me know when you have another product that gets away with something like this and pushing it off as user error.

I get all that, but this is also the same type of attitude that results in people like Freddie Gray dying (for possessing a switchblade of all things) or that guy who got choked out and died for selling cigarette singles “illegally”

Wrong. The fireball issue was real, even if statistically the Pinto was just as safe as the average car. Ford actively worked to cover the defect up and they got torched (pun!) for it

Which is relevant for LeBron’s decision making... How?

Fascinating. When Tesla’s begin exploding after they get rear ended, let me know. Clearly, the public doesn’t share your unhealthy dislike for the autopilot feature and doesn’t blame it for people who abuse the technology to absurd levels, like they blame Ford’s blatant cover up of their design flaw in the Pinto

Before we get crazy, LeBron has known Simmons since the kid was in high school.

Oh stop. The sanctimonious attitude is nauseating.

That would certainly make them the favorite out of the East, but that doesn’t mean LeBron would be any closer to beating the Warriors, even if Embiid, Simmons and Fultz can stay healthy. Just kidding, Fultz would be gone within 15 minutes of LeBron signing for veteran talent. 76ers would have to go all in on a 2,

I’ve been doing product development for a couple decades. I cannot recall of an instance that the customer was supposed to be paying attention was considered an acceptable excuse.

If expected misuse of your product can (or even could) lead to injury, let alone death, the product should never have been released to consumers.
