This is all missing a key factor. Tesla has a reputation for living on the bleeding edge, for pushing boundaries without the normal approach to risk taking which plagues traditional car manufacturers.

Armed police at the schools might be somewhat effective, but I fear they would likely just be the first to die in reality. Weren’t there armed police at Columbine? Most of the shooters are expecting to die anyways, except apparently this coward, so i’m not sure how big of a deterrent it would be.

the left uses the phrase “welcome to the Resistance” as sarcasm because the centre is willing to welcome the right into their hashtag resistance, not out of sincere support for either the centre or the right.
