My kid had me watch the series that came before this - Helluva Boss or something like that. It had great character design, cool aesthetics, and generally high production values. Shocked at all this love for The Killer. I watched it and honestly can’t remember fuck all about it except that Tilda Swinton shows up in the last scene. I love Fincher and generally enjoy Fassbender but it just seemed like a completely boring and almost plotless film.

Phenomenal scene. And I agree, to me this season almost could’ve been one two-hour Black Mirror episode.

It wasn’t quite the jaw-dropping stick-the-landing I had hoped for but I think they pulled it off; also, although they could easily pen another season, it now stands alone just fine. 

I recently watched Garland’s Devs which was wildly underrated; I figured if it had Nick Offerman, it had to be good, and I was right. I extend the same benefit of the doubt toward this, which will probably be great too.

She is amazing and I’m proud to say she’s from the reserve close to where I live in Alberta.
