Just saying that it links to harrasment doesn’t make it so. I’m asking you for a direct link, even if it’s a post in the blog - where has TB harrased anyone? The first five pages of that blog showcase none of that.

You insinuated something, which I have no evidence of, therefore assuming that she sounds vile based on hearsay is only a problem for you. So far there’s nothing to support it.

Proof on Cathy Young, kthx.

Ah, the good old false equivalence. That’s still not proof. Don’t you understand that? Give me proof, and I’ll read it, and adjust opinion accordingly. Right now you’re giving nothing except hearsay and a tumblr blog without evidence.

People aren’t against feminism, they’re against oppression in the name of liberalism. I’m about as far left as you can be, and even I have problems with the worldviews of multiple people involved. Jonathan McIntosh, for one, is no better than Jack Thompson in my books, he just knows how to dress up better. That

You posted that yes, but what there actually proves that he’s done anything? There are a lot of tweets that literally are taken out of context, or are purposefully twisting what has been said to. But even allowing for those, there isn’t a single post there that I can see that proves harrasment. Not one. Point them

What right wing group? You do realize that there are people from all kinds of different political spectrums involved? There are gay people, straight people, trans people, black, white, you name it, all involved in gamergate. This belief that it’s just a group of white right wing men hating on social progression is so

Which facts? You keep saying that there such things, but have no examples of it.

I believe in facts, and since no facts support accusations of him painting targets on anyone, it’s an easy thing to believe in.

I’ve heard of both sides talk of sides, so take that how you will. Past year I’ve received both tweets, emails, and Facebook messages from both, none as hostile as the ones from people who kept threatening me and my work for “choosing a side.”

Honestly, I don’t mind getting called bad things on internet - that comes with the territory. I don’t even mind getting called things if I’ve made an error on a text - that’s what comment sections are for. Neither of those things bother me.

It’s good to hear that Witcher 3 continues holding on to that Game of the Year title like there’s no tomorrow. It’s wholly deserved.

I did. All first world problems.

All of that is either taking things out of context, having no sense of humor, or just finding things to be angry about. There’s no harrasment there (in fact, TB is one of the few people that’s always been open about being against it), and all that page is showcasing is the inability of the people running it to stand

Funny. I got harassed by anti-GG people for writing an article last January that dared to not outright condemn either side, and instead just linked a bunch of articles that said both are in the midst of some heavy internet drama. Suddenly both my inbox and work email were filled with hate mail, and some even sent

His argument is flawed simply because games are far more complicated now than they’ve ever been. Even back in the late 80’s you could get a broken game, or get a Nintendo that bricked itself. All his argument boils down to is: I want everything new, and big, but I don’t want to give anything in return - like waiting

At this point, no, there isn’t. Happily proclaiming about some illusive potential lesson that a decade old comment, in the light of news about a terminal disease, will bring, serves no purpose.

No. A person who said something stupid ten years ago has now gone through cancer not once, but twice, with this second time looking terminal, and you’re jumping in on the announcement of this to go: “HAHA, shouldn’t have said anything! This’ll teach you, and all your friends too!”

I hope this teaches his legions..

Everything you’re saying, how you’re saying it, and jumping instantly on the announcement makes you look like the kind of gleeful loon who takes some twisted pleasure in this.
