Your comment basically explains why she wouldn’t speak out. You think she’s the “powerful one here” so there’s no way Dr. Nassar would abuse her. She probably knew that’s what people would think. For people like Dr. Nassar and Weinstein doing these things to the “powerful ones” without fear of repurcussions makes them…
Uh oh, Madeleine is gonna be soooooo mad at you for this one.
I wonder if he sustained an injury on that fall. The verdict is still out on that one.
Ok, that’s understandable. I didn’t really think that much of it when I first saw it, but I can see why it would bother some. I imagine Lauren just googled “Lars Von Trier Bjork” (it’s the 9th image that comes up from that search) and thought it’d be a good pic without thinking too much about it.
Why do you think it’s an odd choice?
It’s either that’s him in the picture or he/she took the photo. If it’s not one of those two I’ll be very let down. Hopefully they respond.
I wasn’t saying this particular statement was smart, intelligent people say stupid things all the time. I was addressing OP about if he is dumb or not. Pretty much everytime Ashton says something publicly people are quick to say things like he’s “trying to sound smart”. Even if what he said is actually smart, people…
Are you including the Trump family as people he wouldn’t mock? I doubt he’d mock anyone that shares his last name, except Tiffany of course.
That’s a nice way to look at it.
Good job churning that joke out quickly.
I wonder if we have a perception of him as being dumb based on his That 70's Show role and his antics on Punk’d. Maybe him sounding smart just doesn’t seem authentic because of those shows?
To quote one of the Madden games:
There were a lot of jokes I was expecting when I came here, a Broadway joke was not one of them.
I’m guilty of this. As soon as I leave the gym or yoga class I’m lighting a cigarette. Obligatory “Celebs, they’re just like us!”
Twinja is a community of Kinja users on Twitter. During the whole Gawker/Hulk Hogan situation a lot of the old Kinja regulars went there.
I just want to say that is a great mix of sub-blogs to be ungreyed on.
I feel ya. I’m to busy to try and be the “first” on every article even though some days I try. It’s nice to be friendly with other “greys”. We all want to converse with like-minded people and engaging with each other regardless of our approval status does help.
Libraryanne was a savior. One of my first follows as well as followers. She like many others made the switch to Twinja. I wish they would come back and help improve these comment sections, but I understand why they stay away.
