Come on man, it’s not funny any more
Come on man, it’s not funny any more
I have a lot less respect for someone when they obviously post something with the hope they will somehow agree with their outdated ideals.
Sorry, but out of all the things that made me cry today, this wasn’t one of them.
After a horrible day, this is exactly what I needed.
On second thought, it’s like wondering if Bin Laden purposely attacked WTC because it was 911.
Yeah, I can understand with Pride Month. Also Ramadan, but I’m not doing any more religious speculation. Just odd that two high-profile hate crimes (I know they happen everyday) lined up with something that many people think of as a stereotypically gay event.
Is it a coincidence that the events in Orlando/LA occurred on the same day as the Tony Awards? Not trying to be funny and not trying to stereotype LGBT. Just honestly curious if the perpetrators planned it that way.
He was just trying to protect everyone in the wake of the Orlando events. Must have been driving very fast to get there from Indiana.
Beyond that, if you’re eligable, you should consider giving blood to your own community
There was a segment on CBS News Sunday Morning today with Sean Hayes where he stated “Instead of trusting in God, trust in yourself”. I just thought it was especially relevant today.
I didn’t want to minimize it. I was just trying to explain how technically they’re different. You’re right, they are all horrible events and it isn’t important to debate which of these mass killings was worse.
gawker is filled with right-wingers?
Definitely a good thing, but I hope people realize that they don’t need to wait for a tragedy to decide to give blood. It’s still commendable when not in the wake of something like this.
I feel like those are classified as genocide. I think an army unit carrying out orders from a government that was doing some fucked up things at the time is different than a man who acted on his own hatred.
If you don’t want to imagine just head on over to the Gawker comments.
As a straight guy, I can’t understand how someone can see a gay couple and be offended enough that they feel it is necessary to take such extreme measures on innocent people simply for being who they are. The LGBT community isn’t offensive, its people like him that are offensive.
It hurts me so much to imagine if he wouldn’t have been caught. As soon as I saw the news I felt like I got the wind knocked out of me. It’s sad that even with how much progress has been made in the U.S., we still have a long way to go.
I guess Green kicking Adams in the nuts came back to...kick him in the nuts.
I tried making the argument that we shouldn’t judge an entire population based on the actions of a few, and so now I’ve been accused of being an apologist, choosing Muslims over Christians, etc. It’s ridiculous.
Now with the LA Pride parade news. I can’t handle today.
