The book “Mindful of Race” by Ruth King, a black Buddhist teacher in the Vipassana tradition is excellent for such things. Belief systems are great and all, but an actual tool (mindfulness meditation) is ten times better.

I also think that if she had been a white, male cop, she would still be employed and not guilty. It’s not a turning point.
