How do you reboot a series that never had an overarching story anyway?

The customisation is actually my favourite part of those NFS Underground, and most of the subsequent, games.

The first was loads of fun, especially because it was co-op, so you weren’t being sniped within three seconds of spawning. Definitely get on it.

I have only began hearing it within the last month. Before now it was only ever "RPGs". And I have played both BGs, ID and NWN when they were released. So it's not like I never encountered the games or their online communities before.

I was thinking about this as I read the article. I feel like it lacks balance if an early advantage can spell doom for the entire game. How is that fun?

I have enough trouble with competitive games on a good day. But being accused of being a feeder when playing the original DotA, in person at a LAN after my very first match, pretty much convinced me that as much as I'd like to give it a crack, fuck that. My emotional health can't sustain that shit.
