FYI squid faced puppets are the defintion of what Star Wars is about. I’m fine with the direction of “letting the old die”, but it was a missed opportunity to not give an old fan favorite a cool death. Particularly because Holdo is a bland character.

What are your thoughts on how this affects the lasting appeal of TFA? TFA was basically just a reintroduction to the series and setting up unanswered questions for the next two movies. I really enjoyed TLJ, but it pretty much shit on everything TFA set up, to the point that it doesn’t add much to the series besides

True, but give him the honor of sacraficing himself for the resistance over a new character who with 1 sentence couldve nullified an entire subplot. Thats my only minor gripe I can get past. It wouldve hit harder, and been a sympbolic moment of the old dying.

Kylo didn’t tell Rey that her parents were nothing. She admitted it and he confirmed it.

Well, the bombs in the opening scene were made to look like they were ‘dropping’ out of those ships. Also, the resistance ships still needed to ‘burn fuel’ to continue traveling at the same speed, and when they ran out they kind of fell backwards. None of which is quite what happens in actual space, so there is room

I loved CG Muppet Yoda too, and I was really touched by the scene with him and Luke, but it just seemed like Yoda again was acting against the character established in the original Trilogy (Again cause he acted against character in the prequels too). If he decided that the Jedi Order was total bullshit and needed a

I was thrilled to see so many female extras in this movie. First Order officers, X-Wing pilots, mechanics... It was awesome.

Even bringing back Muppet Yoda (or at least a MUCH better CGI Yoda that mimics his original Muppet-ness) was basically telling sleek Prequel CGI Yoda to eat shit.

Leia surviving in the cold vacuum of space without anything more than novice training in the Force versus Qui-Gon and Obi Wan needing scuba gear for a five minute swim to the Gungan city.

and it was like, dang, actually you can tell a fresh and surprising story in this Star Wars universe

Yeah exactly, Rey fell prey to what orphan kids have always done when they are abandoned by their parents. Imagined a scenario in which they were really coming back and they were super stars they just had to leave her there for reasons...

Why assume Kylo Ren is telling Rey the truth about her parents?

Don’t forget murdering Ackbar and just moving the eff on.

  • When Kylo Ren, with like ten seconds of icily savage dialogue, revealed that Rey’s parents were nobody-ass losers, pissing on both George Lucas’s sole storytelling move and all The Force Awakens’s hints about Rey having a mysterious and auspicious background.

I’d be okay with it if actual cheaters got penalized but they really do not. My town is still full of bots after the last ban wave and in my town it is all Team Mystic a majority of the time. The bans are temp though or they bot on new accounts back to 30 and it is butt.

Niantic accidentally made the most popular app in history. Their experience is with boring-ass Ingress, which while popular to a degree, most people have never even heard of. I only know of it because I am in the IT community. Plainly, Niantic has NO FREAKING CLUE how to handle something as big as Pokemon GO. Nintendo

Niantic should have a bug bounty program where people could report this stuff. Alas, they don’t give a fuck.

I completely disagree. This is the one free to play game I’d actually consider putting down a few bucks. They don’t sell anything that ruins the game for others, like selling Pokemon, candies, or stardust. They don’t try to force me into buying things just to enjoy the game. Plus they even allow you to earn decent

You mean, they should be happy someone’s doing QA on their work, because they clearly haven’t?

Its ridiculously lazy - they effectively expected only casual play and built their game around it.
