I absolutely LOVE self checkout, not having to wait behind 3 people with loaded carts just so I can grab some shampoo or something is much better for my stress levels.  The ones at the 2 Giants around me have always worked without a problem.  The only bad thing about them is when people with full carts try to use them

Counterpoint, they are really quite bad. KwikTrip does a version with a less chemical tasting sauce, and if you go the pickles and mustard route it’s actually a pretty decent snack for $1.89, available every Tuesday and random days in between.

Tried this place once and the cookies were insanely sweet - it was like they followed a normal recipe for cookies and decided to double or triple the sugar. I’m sure some people enjoy that and no issues from me if you do but personally couldn’t eat more than a bite or two.
