Thunderbird is kind of fitting, not as good as Thundercougerfalconbird though

For my dad it was a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, four doors for the family and eight cylinders for the man-child in us all. Pretty sure it was a classic mini midlife crisis type thing with two kids in high school and two kids in college. A compromise on practicality and performance. Still has it and still very fun to drive,

I’ve watched the 4 lb pack of Wright’s Applewood Bacon at Sam’s club fluctuate from ~$12 pre-pandemic to highs reaching $25 and now it goes between $16 and $21. We buy it when it’s on sale, but it’s gotten pricey and this is in Central WI where meat is fairly cheap,

Maybe he meant 0.8E-1? Though I did just google world record BAC and a Polish man reach 1.480% which is nuts, he also died.

I’ve been fortunate to pick up stainless steel pans like this for a few bucks at estate sales, cheap and useful all over the house.

I tried subbing for the round egg instead of square and they were going to charge me $2.29 or so

Number 4 is real for sure. I drove 600 miles from the top of Michigan’s UP (Houghton) to the Ohio border with a OCDP Newport drum set in a truck bed covered by a fiberglass tonneau cover. The maple shells had a lacquer finish which by the time I got to my destination had cracked, the blue sparkle finish looked like it

I still use the term Frogurt with a 0% success rate of someone catching it.

I eat an alarming amount of food from KwikTrip, and I’m usually pretty pleased with their food understanding it’s gas station food. It doesn’t help that the city I live in has one every mile it seems. My wife loves their pork sandwich and my 3 year old always yells “HOT DOG” when we drive by one so those KwikRewards

Agreed, overpriced and underwhelming. They seem to have a base recipe that they then vaguely massage into some something’s-not-quite-right flavor profile.

I love Culver’s, but have to agree their curds are acceptable but there’s dozens of bars in the area (central WI) that have far superior curds of all varieties. Now if I’m craving a burger, onion rings, a cup of their cheese dip, and some root beer then I’m happy I live less than a mile from a Culver’s.

Recently got a 2023 Grand Cherokee L and so far liking their system. I like that there are buttons for all the climate and heated/ventilated seat controls, but also plenty of ways to customize the home screen for your favorites. Connects to Android Auto very fast as well.

One of my go-to uses is throwing in with pasta dishes. Mac n cheese, alfredo, some sort of chicken parm, etc.

Once I realized they have melted cheese dipping cups I get it every time. I dip fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, and even my double butterburger with cheese and bacon in it. Root beer to drink and I am in a food coma after all is said and done. Gotta take advantage of this metabolism while I still have it

Was hoping to see this on the list! Loved that show, and now the theme song is playing in my head.

So much to learn about...

The Mushroom Risotto in the bottom right of Slide 8 has become one of our go-to sides. Very delicious and pairs with tons of different meals. This also lead me to try some of their other frozen selections which have been pretty good.

Back when Burger King had hot dogs a few years back they were actually pretty darn good. Wish they’d bring them back. A quality place like Skyline Chili would be great to go national as well.

My grandparents have had their plots in place (with headstones installed that have their names on it and birth dates) as long as I can remember, and I’m 30. Always kind of funny when you drive by and can see the headstones from the road.

A little out of left field but I’ve kind of left Reese’s behind for the bags of Choceur peanut butter cups at Aldi. The Choceur version has great chocolate and smooth peanut butter filling. An added bonus is they don’t have a sleeve around their base, so for better or for worse you can just grab and eat. Highly
