Haha I do the same. I’ve come the conclusion that I don’t think it’s nefarious, I think they genuinely do have an affinity for history. I actually think that plays in why they’re so interested in politics, because they see it as literally shaping history, like being god. That probably gets them pretty hard.

I’m so sorry. I was so mad online yesterday. I told people, men and women, about the seriousness of roe v wade and was called a hill shill, hysterical, playing identity politics, etc etc. I mean I know people don’t listen to women, but fuck could they not have listened this time? Or I guess they just didn’t give a

Yeah, some seem to use it interchangeably with yuppies, DINKs, or tech bros. But people don’t really say yuppy anymore.

Haha! I loved computer lab. We only played games though, like math crunchers and Oregon trail. Which had absolutely no value looking back on it, haha. I had to teach myself to type, which I loved to do back in the day randomly.

Perfect

Yeah, again I don’t want to assume bad faith but I felt as it was in poor taste, gloating almost. And I don’t feel like people would really be doing the same with any other civil right being on the line. I’m just very sensitive to this issue, for obvious reasons, but because I kept telling people about the urgency of

Ugh. I am super not looking forward to the fourth this year.

I have heard both of those too. They sound kinda cheesy to me though. Although, the Oregon trail one does make me laugh.

Yay! My sister is ‘77. I feel more in common with them but some ppl say no. See my responses!

I know doesn’t it feel weird every time that is shown on each episode? The doc is good though. We basically never resolved any of those issues.

Haha. That’s why I’m saying I’m part of the lost generation. We didn’t have the internet in high school and a few kids had dial up, we didn’t, but I had DSL in my freshmen dorms and we were the first year to have it, which blew some people’s minds and we had a good amount of people drop out of school because they were

Interesting. Thank you.

It’s definitely interesting. I mean I can’t look away in a terrified heightened awareness kind of way.

I agree completely. Internationally it’s a disaster and domestically is awful too. It will get exponentially worse as climate change really ramps up.

Sorry to reply twice but I wanted to add another point. A lot of our history has been awful and while the 90s were cool for me, they still weren’t for a lot of marginalized communities, particularly LGBT. However, I guess I always still have hope that things could get better. That the trajectory was up. I don’t feel

I mean some of the 90s were cool but other than that it’s been pretty shit actually.

Ahh I don’t know where you live but I was in NorCal and now I’m in LA and everywhere here. To the point that the hipsters were over it because it became too common and now it’s popular again kind of ironically I guess? Lol I don’t even know.

Lol well fuck your dear sir.

Drink the future.

Mmm toasty. ;)
