Yeah I’m 36. I was a latch key kid and people had the internet when I was in high school but my parents were luddites with a rotary phone even so we didn’t. I feel like the lost generation kinda.

I see. There hasn’t been that much analysis I’ve seen thus far, but I will freely admit I haven’t actively sought it out. Yeah, that can be problematic. I have less fear of that than the right wing populist, but it can lead to pretty bad results usually on a longer timeline though.

They’re so important! I’m partially doxxing myself maybe but I used to work at a high end store and seriously people would have their mind blown once they tried well made shoes. And expensive doesn’t necessarily mean well made but yeah even socks make a difference.

It’s a tool used to dismiss people by the older generation that is holding onto power with a death grip. It’s why adult women are called girls. It’s all dismissive and patronizing. But yes, it’s also lazy stereotyping.

Yeah at least it seems like people are calling out the walk away shit pretty quickly. I know the cool thing is to make fun of Twitter and I don’t like a lot of aspects of it, but it’s exposed me to some cool people, activists and just concerned and interested people alike.
