First off — in no way do I think that she deserved to be spoken to like that. I don't believe Josh was anything but incredibly creepy and completely wrong in harassing her. You're accusing me of blaming 'this' on the victim, but I can't quite figure out what 'this' is.

She really should have said something about it in the conversation. She really, really should have. I don't want to reinforce or encourage a culture where people are afraid to stand their ground in situations like these — I feel like we've come too far as a society for completely accomplished professionals to feel the

I absolutely 100% agree with you when it comes to setting an example and a standard of professionalism in the field. Dude messed up hardcore and it definitely should negatively impact his career.

I like to think anyone willing to bust out come-ons that pathetic is anything but sober.

But do you think he'll ever be able to find work in this industry again?

I think the woman and her friend who posted the facebook image did not see the full picture when they decided to shame Josh. I think the woman probably was stunned into silence when it was happening. I also think the impetus to expose josh was intended to make him aware that what he did was wrong and not to destroy

I'm pretty sure 100% of people who read the story agree that Josh was being an obnoxious toolbag and clearly should not have done that. I mean come on, it's literally pathetic.

She didn't have to "rip him a new asshole on the spot". A simple "let's keep this professional" or "okay that's enough vagina talk" is non-confrontational and gets the point across. A simple "um can u not" would have solved this. Or just disengaging the conversation when it changed from "I'm trying to get some hot

...Why is alcohol legal, again?

Yeah, it'll be great for him. He'll be broke, unable to work in the industry he sank years into, and maybe if he's lucky he can get a job pumping gas. That way he can work everything out without being tempted to drink away his sorrows ever again.

Yeesh, anyone else feel like that Bioware one is a little insensitive to survivors of abusive relationships?

You want a prediction? Here's a prediction.

I agree fundamentally on a lot of the broader ideas this guy has, but... man what a fucking dick.

While you're right about plenty of things, certain games absolutely will hold up — SMB, SMB3, OoT, Chrono Trigger — I'm willing to bet none of these titles will simply be lost to the sands of time. They'll remain timeless classics centuries in the future.

Football and baseball change every year. They're always cycling characters in and out, the mechanics keep getting a bit more refined, and the MLB/NFL release a new patch for the game rules with every new season. Teams even spend money every year on new skins!

Who is 'they'? Publishers or press?

Hoo boy, those screens are sad.

Ganondorf = Trevor
Zelda = Michael
Link = Franklin

Do I have this right?

Of course we all assumed the NSA was surveilling digital communications, but not at the level they've been shown to do. Wading through twitter feeds and facebook profiles, getting mass dumps of email account/IP address activity when they come to Google/Comcast/whoever with a warrant, sure. That's all perfectly

I dunno. 7/10's fun, but it's a little bit too misogynistic for me to put it at #1...
