Regardless of how often someone says "freedom", conservatives and libertarians have wildly, wildly, wildly different opinions on civil liberties. And I would say many if not most conservatives don't even have libertarian-leaning economic stances. At least, they didn't while Bush was in office.

Ron Paul is not a conservative, and Rand Paul is not a libertarian.

Is there a widespread assumption that white, cis men actually have it good in the industry? That you get an outpouring of professional support simply for being white, cis, and male? That people actually want you to succeed?
