Oh yeah, it’s a blast.

Yeah that was my favorite thing about uber. I hate figuring how much I should tip someone for a non-food purchase (as that is rather standard) and I loved how uber removed that whole thing from the equation. It amazes me that non-uber drivers actually wanted this.
I had a driver cancel my ride because he couldn’t figure out how to get to our office. I watched his little icon circle around and around for like 30 minutes. Finally he just gave up. Didn’t call me, didn’t message me. Nothing. Just bounced and charged ME the $5 cancellation fee.
Listen, when you’re a parent it is your job to be as embarrassing to your kid as humanly possible. That’s just science.
That...was kind of my thought as well. Why would you ask a corp to donate money to your cause, then be up in arms because *gasp!* said corp wants to advertise A) because they donated to your cause, and B)if they didn’t, people would say “wow, that corp doesn’t care about (said cause)!”
I don’t understand the purpose behind car thermometers existing in the first place.
The angels are wonderful villains at first but they get horribly overused later on.
You will need a screwdriver, a pair of tweezers, a magnifying glass (optional), some salt (~1tbsp), and a bag of chicken feed, preferably corn-based.
I had Sprint back in 2011 or so. Even back then, I recall joking with my family that Sprint’s “Unlimited” data was a joke, because the download speeds were so slow that I could be downloading non-stop for the entire month and still never pull down more than 2 gigs. It was literally dial-up speed most of the time.
A few of you brought up a good point: the Amazon Prime Credit Card offers an even better bonus of 5% cash back. Not everyone wants to open a new card (and the 2% offer doesn’t require you to do so) but if you’re looking for a better incentive, there it is.
Neat tech demo, but that’s about it imo. Movement is a key aspect of Doom’s gameplay, and removing that in favor of the dreaded teleport mechanic makes it decidedly not Doom.
Yep...
Damn, used astroturf is...a thing. I had no idea.
My dad just bought a house that the backyard is artificial turf. Weeds do have to be sprayed that come up through it, but other than that, maintenance is minimal. It looks like real grass up until you stand on it. Also, if you have a dog, you will definitely need to pick up after them.
All this talk, I can’t believe no one has brought up moss lawns ! Moss is boss, grass is ass !
Yes you can do this absolutely. But don’t buy new. I have a buddy who just artificial turfed his 1300 sq. ft. deck. The professional quality stuff is really expensive if you buy new, but there are places that buy up turf from stadiums when they upgrade their fields every couple of years. That’s what he did, and it…
Army combat medic here. That’s actually a bit outdated. Tourniquets are absolutely a first resort for controlling massive arterial (bright red, spurting) bleeding, as long as they are applied correctly. Years of research from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have shown that the chances of limb loss are fairly low if…
That was true 15 years ago. Vascular surgery came a long way since then and now EMS protocols have you put pressure on a wound and if that doesn’t work, you apply a tourniquet. You can have tourniquets on for 24 hours and surgeons have no problems restoring full functionality to a limb.
He also had 12 other BMWs stored in the parking lot of the company he worked for.
Now I’m imagining playing all the way to the Battle of Hoover Dam, all the different factions are clashing, there are bodies everywhere -
