@PhineasJW: My stock G2 tethers just fine, thank you, with no additional charges. As best I have been able to surmise, tethering was added after initial launch, temporarily removed with an OTA update, and then restored. I got mine the day before US thanksgiving, and it has been capable of tethering since day one.

@Crashproof: Agreed. The fact that this doesn't do HSPA+ is making my G2 purchase of last week sound better than ever. I was a bit worried I would regret the G2 when this baby came out.

@pastoralia: Aren't the two universes in the fringe universe (whoa) described as being on top of one another, but slightly out of phase with one another?
