The lack of action was never the problem. The problem is that it was terrible writing, with shoddy stupid characters, and a plot like someone threw a copy of Lord of the Rings into a blender and then extracted random chunks to paste together.
No one is calling for more action. The problem was and is that the story was terrible and reads like it was written by E.L. James ripping off Tolkien this time around. I wouldn’t really call season 1 world-building either. There certainly was a lot of set dressing, but that hardly counts as world building.
