If I remember correctly, that is more or less how the book is as well. There is a substantial chunk spent on getting Paul to the Fremen and then everything after it is told in these time skips as Paul goes from being the lost duke’s son to the Mahdi.

Villeneuve is the best sci-fi director in the business. I’ve loved everything he has done since Arrival. I’m really looking forward to this movie.

Just recast Kang. We’ve already seen that he can take many forms as seen in the Council of Kangs scene.

Sure it does. But it game out a decade ago with no follow up. For comparison, there have been three Mortal Kombat games in that same time period.

I think your response is the epitome of all the rest. Certainly more intelligent. It is also a great example of how people get indoctrinated to think and respond emotionally instead of logically. They’re trained to be triggered and respond in buzzwords and phrases, placing angry dogma over facts. Just look at your

And she is set to have a more positive and long lasting impact on human life than Cyrus or Gomez ever will.

>then the studio takes the tax write-off (or however this scam works)

It would be great to see a real KI revival.

The physical media isn’t even going away. It will just be distributed by Sony. So the title of the article is a straight up lie.

Either way, I live fried chicken. So fried chicken with sauce is still delicious, debates aside.

While I disagree about the blue cheese, I agree about the breading. Breaded drumlets are just really small pieces of fried chicken covered in sauce.

>I’d ask that you reread the story and, this time, don’t think of Mr. Beast as a “wacky internet fun guy who makes squid game realz!!!!” and instead think of him as “an insanely rich person who, through his absurd merchandizing of trash product, has proven himself to be a grotesque uber capitalist who is fine with

Well, if they’re employees of a company selling his product their job is, in a sense, help this guy (and many other corporations) make money. So, if they’re at work, then no, they very much don’t have anything better to do other than help him (and millions of other people) make money.

Helping people stock shelves, i.e. finding it and putting it out for them, is not “forcing” anyone to do anything. It is the exact opposite, i.e. doing their work for them so they aren’t compelled to do so because of their job.

I still remember Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin’? fondly.

Freehold isn’t fascist either. In fact the dictatorial government that arises in the post-nuclear apocalypse that starts of the story is distinctly portrayed as being evil. The rejection of centralized dictatorship as evil is the antithesis of fascism.

There is a difference between saying something is open to interpretation and suggesting it has no meaning at all. American Psycho is a specifically bad comparison because it specifically is about a guy having a complete mental breakdown and entirely disassociating from reality. Batemen can’t tell delusion from reality

What would you rate them on a 1-10 scale?
