"Spotify gets it." No they don't. If they did, this would have been a feature since day one. I've had to hide Spotify on Facebook because it's pretty post happy. Annoying clutter.

oh, no woman would EVER use this for untrue vindictive libelous stuff. That's unpossible!

This would be great. I do not have a coax jack in each room that I have a TV. But I can easily move my xbox 360 around to other TVs in the house. Just as long as I can set up my own personal channel list (can't do this with my existing FIOS TV box) so I can skip the movie channels, cartoon channels, and Spanish

What I find sad about it is that there are so many photos that are now *NOT* being shared publicly because they're behind Facebook friend walls.

I use the "Sanitize" setting on my washer for my work clothes. I'm in EMS and we often come home with an interesting variety of unknown fluids on our clothes. It's probably safe to assume that several are not something you'd want to be sticking your hands in...

Aside from a few die hard Googlefans that I know, pretty much all of my friends that went to Google+ bother using it.

I'm happy about this. If I'm at home and chatting with people, I'd much rather use a desktop application to talk to my SMS friends rather than picking up the phone and banging out a text.

Interesting. It can tell you that there are in fact toxic gasses present in a burning industrial building. Although (at least for our department) that's a given, and we'd be in full SCBA anyway and wouldn't be breathing in the gasses. Our thermal camera would show us the temperature too.

Cell networks are overloaded because of all you east coast fools that just can't resist "liveblogging the disaster" and twattering about your brush with death.

Oh look, another "OK Go" video for gawker to shamelessly promote, for reasons that I don't quite understand. Yay hipster internet bands.

Seems she deleted the tweets. The HoustonPress story has a lot more information. Seems that she was called out on it and couldn't take the heat when someone dished some snark right back at her..

I too would LOVE that. That's the next thing I'm hoping to see..

Hah. I saw something that looked just like the "Baby Girl" model at Burning Man last year. (Over by 10:00 & J/K if anyone was up in that area)

I deal with this at my day job frequently. We have a shared (four people) to a cube setup that I despise, and I'm by far the youngest one in the group.. at age 35. The senior citizens (no joke) i'm with do not understand *at all* that headphones in/on means "Please do not disturb." They will start talking and talking

Except that they eventually did that. ;-) But I do remember the original iPod launch and comments made on /. like "no FM tuner. Fail." heh.

names, ages, and locations are actually in the justice.gov press release linked in the CBS article.

I read the justice department press release. While we can all agree that exploiting children is vile, I do have to worry that the current Justice Dept is going to further use this as a way to crack down on the internet. The article mentioned "encryption technology" several times and pretty much painted proxies &

Google TV *could* give the Apple TV a run for its money..

Yet everyone gushed adoration over the Google ad showing the father creating Google accounts for his unborn child.

Check the star-telegram comments. Seems that the guy has a criminal record, including assaulting elderly people. Grade-A douchebag.
