I think it’s because anti-vaxxers are overwhelmingly Trump supporters, and Trump-supporters are (if not overwhelmingly, at least vocally) anti-vaxxers.

Agreed. My Toyota was a 1986 4-speed. I think it weighed about 300 pounds wet. Top speed was a blistering 72 mph.
I just read the Wiki about the 2.3 in your Tempo and you’re right. It was a completely different terrible engine, and it DOES sound like it was even worse than mine.
That’s my answer, too. I had the 2.3 in my 1995 Ford Ranger (5mt) and the first time I drove it, I asked the salesman if the parking brake was still on. 98 furious horsepower
