Yeah, I didn't take it as him talking about his looks, but about himself as a human being not being worthy of her.

I loved that scene of him breaking Blake down. Plus, the fact that he actually then killed Blake and didn't leave him alive was just the icing on the cake.

Considering Ray's remarks about Ani's e-cig earlier in the season I was pretty amused at that moment. Plus, yes, it was cute.

Yeah, the issue of Ani using her sister's identity at that party being pretty damn dangerous was discussed in the comments last week too. I'm glad they didn't just gloss over that one, but it does seem pretty damn stupid.

Oh, tvtropes… here goes my Monday.

I wasn't really fond of Paul's whole "Woe me, I get boners for dudes, but that's gay, and I'm clearly not!" storyline, but I'm not sure this really wasy "bury your gays". Might just be a case of "bury your everyones" in the end, depending on how things shake out next week.

Didn't one of the gay guys actually make it out of Spartacus alive? Don't remember for sure, but I thought so. But yeah, pretty much everyone died on that show, that is true.

Exactly. Plus, even if Paul's exit was a bit random, it doesn't seem beyond Burris' capabilities to keep track of Paul and maybe take at least an educated guess where he might emerge. And as science will tell you, very often an educated guess is good enough, even if it needs a slight bit of luck.

Yeah, same for me. At first I was "Holy shit, that is one unlucky door!", but it doesn't seem completely unrealistic that the bad guy was keeping a good eye on things from a distance until that moment.

Now that you mention his size, that reminds me of the church scene in Wedding Crashers (I think?) where he clocks out a guy flat on his back in utterly awesome fashion and you really get the impression that this guy is not to be fucked with.

Well, even if it is a PMC, if they have rebranded themselves as a mere security company working for that one client, I reckon they might be able to get away with it? I'm not too up to date on US legislation in this area I must admit.

The scene where Frank tears Blake apart bit by bit was freaking awesome. I was enjoying the crap out of it, all the way hoping that Frank wouldn't chicken out and let Blake live. He did not, and he did not.

I also really liked

My money's on his son at the moment.

Yeah, that's precisely how I interpreted it as well. To me the scene made sense and I actually rather liked their interaction.

Agreed. I'd be really fucking surprised if he survived that. And there was definitely no ambiguity there.

Yeah, it's kinda weird, but of all the characters still standing, I seem kinda to care most about whether Frank makes it out alive or not, which I really did not expect at all.

Yeah, I love the relationship between Frank and Jordan, and her line to Velcoro in the casino was an awesome callback.

Oh, hadn't thought of that! I'm not rating Frank's odds very high either I must admit. Somehow I don't get the feel he and his wife are going to get a happy end, so unless she gets a case of dead, kinda puts his head on the block.

I don't know. Season 1 got pretty close to killing off McConaughey, both with depicting his descent into a degenerate alcoholic burnout over the season and then with actual injuries in the finale and he still made it out alive.
