I think that's the point. If you start to focus during a Transformers movie all kinds of weird shit can happen. For instance, one might notice plot holes, get annoyed by useless human characters, and… wait, one seems to notice that anyway, nevermind.

Well, it's obvious that this show lives in the same universe as Dr. Who (i.e. inside the great Moffat's head), so obviously there will be time travel at some point!

Oh dear, I offer my humblest apologies for my pop-cultural blindspot. :D

Oh that is a very good point. Hadn't thought about that line with the benefit of hindsight, thank you!

As somebody who's rather into the whole computer thing, that bugged the ever living shit out of me! Christ, Q should be tried for treason for that kind of incompetence!
Oh, maybe he is actually a traitor and did it on purpose? Hm…

Wait, what did I do? I just make chocolate, cheese and watches!

Yeah, same here. I've pretty much spoiled myself for ASOIAF by reading up on it on their wiki, and I've done the same for lots of other works via tvtropes, wikipedia or other sources. I just don't have the time to read and view it all, but I'm still curious how it goes.

It's funny how Scientology can do what it does in the US, but is classified as an anticonstitutional sect by the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and is therefore under surveillance.

When did he let her take the fall for him (honest question, I seem to have forgotten)?

That… is actually a good point.

Somebody mentioned a few weeks back that the showrunners said they weren't going to do that since they had already done it at the end of season 4 with Nicky Augustine going after Wynona and the (unborn) baby.

I was wondering if somebody noticed the difference that can make.

Agreed about the fridging. John already has a dead female love interest in his past, he's lost plenty in the fight along the way since then (not just people, I'm more talking about the overall toll on him).

The one thing which sort of makes me not too unnerved about it is that she pretty much knows Reese is not a cop (he didn't really try to deny it when she called him out on it if I rememer correctly).

Yes, I was thinking the same thing when she mentioned she'd destroyed that device.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. There seemed to be no punch to the gunfire whatsoever, it really weirded me out.

Yeah, somehow I have a feeling we'll be seeing that device again.

I think kinoumenthe was refering to Alexa's line from the review, which seems to mix things up a bit:

Damn, right! Serving up Carl and Earl like that really was fucking cold of Boyd (and to think, he didn't even know they were going to survive, they might as well have gotten killed in a shootout for all he knew).

Yup, FX tends to do that.
And indeed, cops like Vic working as actual cops is a pretty terrifying proposition, and the scary thing is there surely are such cops out there (not that I generally presume all cops to be corrupt or anything like that, one of my best friends used to be one, and the ones I've met have been
